Fun fact: The old lady swinging the flowers around actually fell from a high, elevated platform in the shot where she falls onto the flowers after Rasputia threw her. She insisted on doing the stunt herself and only revealed her age to everyone concerned after she pulled it off. Did the stunt in one take and told everyone she was 66 years old.
Pat Crawford Brown plays the old lady, but it was a stunt actress who got picked up and thrown into the flowers. They showed it on the behind the scenes footage for the DVD. You're correct about the stunt lady's age though.

people that hate this movie don't know a funny movie when they see it. yeah some stupid parts but over all this was a pretty good movie. Eddie Murphy is awesome he can do different voices like no one's business he's brilliant
Norbit deserves to be loved and to be happy I found it very cool that Norbit has so many people to love him and I found it funny that Resputia took off running like a bat out of here
I have to agree. If it wasn't for Norbit's "being a man for the first time in my life" and his likability/popularity, the townspeople wouldn't have drawn up enough courage at that moment to fight against the very same people who caused all of their grieves to begin with.
She has the smile 🙂of an angel 😇 💖 too after she had seen how much Norbit really loves❤ & cares for her (saving her life from rasputia, stopping deion from marrying her to get her money 💰 & the latimores from trying to steal the orphanage). I love this movie. The one-liners are hilarious and I still say them now (“Got a girlfriend? You do now!”).. Such an underrated funny movie - just like Bowfinger. Eddie Murphy is a master of comedy. Always makes me laugh

For the people who don't know why she didn't attack Morris the barber there is a deleted scene after she threw Ms. Henderson she picked up her shovel and was gonna attack Morris but he pissed him self and ran off.
Norbit is the man! He busted out the Lattimore gang and Deion Hughes for their actions! That teaches people when they do wrong it comes back and catches up with them.
