Nord Lead A1 - Official demo 

I played with this extensively at the Frankfurt MuiskMesse - it's a really nice synth, super easy to program and really great sounds.

Stunning machine. The nord keyboards have always been high quality products. We use them a lot in our music. Even our Fairlight was sampled for clavia.

The only VA synths that actually sound analog but can do so much more.

I'm the owner of one! Fantastic instrument and my first ever Nord keyboard. Can't wait for the next Nord in my setup... maybe something from Stage series...? :)

The LIKE button is a fantastic idea! No more messed dirty banks. It's a serious powerful function for sound designers. I think the guy who had this idea must be promoted now! :D

Very nice, but £1100 is too much for what it does. The archaic display is intensely annoying, given that it costs nothing to put even the most basic screen display on something. There are kids toys with displays!! This is an £850 keyboard.

This is just simply too expensive, confusing, and questionable. The Nord Lead 4 and A1 are now both at the same price with the NL4 edging lower. Customers don't know which to buy. Will there be an A2 out shortly? How about a 4x? It's a huge gamble putting two grand on an Nord Lead A1 at the moment. Yes, the A1 is a nice synth. Wait for the price drop coming soon.

Nord needs to bring back the Nord Modular. By far their best product ever. Their current line of "stage keyboards" is lame and boring

I don't like the makeup design at all, instead of red - black, white or light blue would be great color. Also some of the buttons look too much retro, but when it comes to it real purpose (synth.sound) I think it is fantastic!

Looks great, sounds reasonably good for a VA, good user interface, but way overpriced for what it does. This is simply VA technology from the early 2000's slightly upgraded with higher frequency response (no more aliasing thanks to 24 bit 96KHz processing) and more available voices. Oh, and that "like" button that temporarily stores a patch until you permanently save it, but you have to remember to press that button (it could have saved the current edit patch to that temporary memory buffer area automatically as soon as you change something, like on many other synths). So, frankly, nothing to write home about...

As if adds aren’t already obviously absurd enough as it is… Neil D. Tyson being relentlessly pushed as an intellectual, when he’s a verifiable fraud, is just too mush. It’s all so tiresome. I do love Nord, though.

Was looking at buying this Nord but after watching this i am not impressed and this VA synth is nolonger on my want list, music and sound is subjective and this does not sound any better than alot of vst instruments and i hate most of them aswell lol
