It's funny; 12 years ago it was all about the Yamaha MOTIF & most people in the churches from my culture didn't even know what a Nord was, so my little red keyboard got a lot of attention; fast forward a few years & now Nord is the new *it standard in the church, because the company realized what the myopic big brands, who are always last on the bandwagon, fail to: Gospel is the freshest soul music on earth today & the last successor to ALL great black genres of the past rolled into one. Like all companies who get it, they're exploiting this demographic and benefitting. If only the big companies hadn't been so shortsighted, but alas. Kudos, Nord.

:)))). Funny comment .But the general picture is a bit broader.Nord has made huge steps in certain directions,that aim much more than church /soul musicians . If you pay attention a bit you will see it.

I remember the trend those days I remember being 11 years old back in 2010 seeing a black Yamaha Motif. I’ve gotta say as much as Nord is currently the front runner when it comes to soul music I haven’t seen them in churches and jazz clubs like that I still see bunch of Yamaha’s. Can’t believe the Motif is still around and the Montage are more prominent. I see Nords in White Pentecostal churches but I still rarely see them though. That’s one of the reasons why I have a Nord Stage 3 not a lot of people have them, not a lot them out there well up here in Canada don’t know everywhere else lol.
