Many thanks to everyone for the open conversation !!! What a great team !!! I can't even imagine how many internal hard talks or even fights are to precede the birth of each new boat model. Isn't it? )))) Guys, my deep compliments and respect to you and your team !!
I love The whole Nordhavn range, and so looking forward to my tour oneday. I love the 100 and 120, and look forward to the 148. The range from 76 to 92 are just amazing. Big enough to hold their own berthed next to superyachts. Myself being disabled. I'd love to own and live on the medium to bigger vessels. There was an amazing walkthrough of a N76 in Southampton. Sailing down Southampton Water. My home town, and also My Home Port in my old Army Maritime unit (My 2nd time in the Army, serving as a Bosun on Army Landing Craft and Mexeflote rafts and small fast ribs patrol boats and LCVPS, and Tid Tugs and Dutch Barges. So watching that beautiful 76 leaving Ocean Village, and sail down my childhood haunts etc. Really makes me want to win a huge Euro millions jackpot win. So I can buy a beautiful Nordhavn to own and live on. Crewed as my health means I'd need a crew. A fool can dream. I always look forward to Nordhavn videos. Can't wait to meet Dan Steech.
what a great interview, can you please speak in any coming occasion like this one about the "Damage Stability" that this kind of a vessel can stand!. Thanks again and wishing you all the best
I think the Aurora 120 Nordhavn is my favorite boat I have ever seen. I am very impatient to get a look at the 148 when it comes out. It will change the industry.
It is a nice boat but, the "euro flair" is not for me. I like the hi gloss dark wood, old designs, and it is good to know that its an option. It is easy to see she is big and will be great for a larger family. For me however, if you could shrink the 63 down to ~50 foot with a bulb option I would be really excited. This was a great video. Alot of information about this boat and other Nordhavns. Very cool.
I don't understand why an engineer is required on larger boats. (75 to 100 feet) Yes, they have a lot of systems, but I would expect that once the initial sea trials are completed, they shouldn't be breaking that often. Daily maintenance and watching the alarms and gauges should be all that is required to run fairly trouble free. When something breaks, it would be no more of an issue than any other mid sized yacht. Am I missing something?
I'm not too much fond of contemporary looks I love the pristine look of hardwoods it has a luster and a feel of nature I love Stone tile granite.... And my all on the boat would be a Navy color I understand your colors but I don't want nothing to do with white I don't want anything to do with yellow or I want something that's got the brilliency of a navy blue stainless steel bronze name of the boat.... I am the kind of guy that loves log cabins and I'm not fond of retro and I'm definitely not fond of carpet
The way you American´s pronounces "Nordhavn", makes it "Northgarden" (nordhaven) in Norwegian. There is no "e" in "havn".(harbor) And we mute the "d" in "Nord" - like "Norhavn".
You are such down to earth people. I do not get this Garrett guy. He’s way too slick with the beard and sunglasses. Is he a relative? Yikes!!! He would not be the image I would want to project on my product. At least make him shave………
