I’ve had the Tempo Studio for a year and I love it. Mine has the barbell as there used to be only one package. I’ve ordered the 25 lb plates too. I have zero issue with the size of the weights. I have a Hydrow as well and my monthly for both is half of what I was previously paying for OTF or F45 Training. Now with the Move, Tempo has another solid choice for people with small spaces or don’t want to barbell train.
Maybe… the big issue is that it seems NordicTrack has sort of given up on the Vault so I doubt any new content will be coming to it. So you have to consider that it might just be a mirror that comes with and holds weights with no classes. That might be worth the $1000 but also Tempo has since come out with the Tempo move that only costs $399 which I would probably suggest if you are looking for coached classes
I’ve had the tempo for two and a half weeks and I’m already having to have it replaced. 🤦🏽♀️ the Bluetooth function stopped working. Don’t know why it just died. I’m considering getting a refund instead of the replacement and buying the vault but after watching this, I just don’t know. I have a Nordictrack treadmill and bike so paying for two different subscriptions isn’t an issue for me. Any advice? Did I just get a dud?
I haven’t heard of too many problems with Tempo units, so I think you may have been unlucky. The Vault has still yet to receive almost any support from iFIT with minimal updates, whereas Tempo has been updated daily this past year with new classes/programs/features… so unless things change for the Vault, I would give Tempo another try.
