🔎 Security
Bitwarden uses the industry-standard AES-256-bit encryption, but NordPass happens to use something a little more modern - XChaCha20. It’s faster AND easier to implement, which results in fewer technical and human errors.
However, I do need to give a point to Bitwarden for being open-source - anyone can review their code for vulnerabilities. Such transparency is a pretty rare thing among the most popular password managers. Overall, personally, due to a more innovative approach, I prefer NordPass.

⭐ Password importing
When it comes to the basics, in this Bitwarden vs NordPass I found them to be pretty similar. For one, they make it easy to import passwords. With NordPass, you can do it straight from the app, while Bitwarden only has this feature on their web application.
⭐ Generating passwords
Both managers have solid password generator tools. I was able to choose the length of my password, whether I want it to include special characters or even forgo the complicated mashups and choose the phrase password option.
⭐ Autofill
Also, as you’d expect, each best password manager candidate has solid autofill capabilities. With NordPass I usually only ever have to click once or twice, just like… this. Bitwarden works a little differently, you can see it in the video.
⭐ Sharing passwords
An essential part of a password manager is being able to securely share my passwords. Sharing was a breeze during my NordPass review. Plus, there weren’t any limits, as long as the other person also uses the service. During my Bitwarden review, the sharing options were a bit disappointing. But at least there’s the “Create a send” feature, which let me send encrypted text messages and files to anyone I want

What’s the final verdict of this NordPass vs Bitwarden review? If you’re looking for a simple and cheap password manager- Bitwarden is a solid choice. However, NordPass has a few more things up its sleeve - I like that they’re taking a modern approach to security, and I’d also say that their app is a little more convenient in general.
