Du måste ju använda diffspärrarna på den fyrhjulsdrivna traktorn och när man dra i uppförsbacke då ska man ha mera vikt på framaxeln inte bak som ni har. Allternativt vänd på traktorn och backa med båten kopplad i fram istället
People are talking about hiring a real trailer and/or tractor but come on... this is part of the adventure owning a boat like this? Im sure this will be a much more appreciated memory than going to a "real" dock. Very nice done!
You folks live in an absolutely Beautiful area! Beautiful waterway... you are very lucky, very blessed!.. And you are amazingly inventive, being able to pull a large boat out of the water like that.... My Best to You, Andy
can confirm... sure, nice fjords and all, but the f*cking worst weather one can get pretty much. Hence, one of the biggest shitholes to live in on the planet.
I would most definitely support the stern of the yacht a lot more, considering the engines are right at the stern. The bow bouncing up and down when lifting was something you definitely don't want. Otherwise, nice effort and shed! :)
If I put the boat forward, it gets too heavy for the front wheel. I always put some more support at the stern when it is stored for the winter. I have done it like this many times and it hasn't occurred any serious problems
Wow. When I was a kid there was a triangular metal frame and large solid wheels in my Grandfathers yard. Only now do I realize it was a boat "trailer", Not for towing down the road but for marina use. He was a big boater earlier in life.
Reminds me of all those summers pulling fair ground machines out the mud. The strap between the boat and the tractor is too long. Excellent video, stunning scenery and beautiful boat.
Not a bad "do it yourself" winter haul out, nice garage to have right at the ramp. I would certainly make the trailer longer for next season and jack and block the stern of the boat during storage now. Larger/heavier tow tractor would help too, stopping the wheel spin seemed like the most time consuming part.
How is that yellow "water bag" with Gardena mount called (you can see that at 11:28 Min)? I like that very much, haven`t found one yet because I don`t know how it is called. Thanks a lot in advance everyone.
When there is no clearance in front of the boat inside the building, you would have to remove the tow bar (and tractor) before the boat enter the buliding anyway, so what's the point?
