Norelis' Leg-lengthening with Dr. Mark Dahl 

Gillette Children’s pediatric orthopedic surgeon, Mark Dahl, MD, performed a ground-breaking procedure to help a patient who has been in constant due to a limb discrepancy and hip problem she’s had since birth.
Norelis Serrano Carreon was born in Ecuador and now lives in Minnesota. Dr. Dahl received compassionate care approval from the FDA to perform a new surgical procedure on Norelis. It’s only the second time this surgery has been performed in the United States.
