Thank you. I bought it at the railroad museum at Horseshoe Curve in Altoona, PA. Glad you enjoyed the video. I'd love to work for NS especially as an engineer but the grueling schedule is what made the job not for me. But I can at least appreciate what y'all do.
I always lose count… What a great idea! I kept thinking, oh no the train is splitting in two, run for your life!!! It’s gonna crash and burn! “Good old fashioned coal train.” I remember those very well, Wallie. Thanks for a great video.
Oh my word! WALLIE!!! That underneath footage was like being in a sci fi movie. Going through a time tunnel or star passage. Very cool. Glad your go pro was not damaged.
There is a rail criss-cross in the small town of Milano texas about 100 yards from it's tiny local post office. There is major train action there with side tracks, waiting trains and someone occasionally firing a gun off in the distance. 😂 Anyone that loves to train watch could spend all day there and not be disappointed.
An awesome rail fan video, Wallie! The underneath footage of the train was really cool! Have a Railfanlicious Day! On Kayla's behalf, Have a KMartlicious Day!
Great view from under the train. Looks like 3d action.now you know what it looks like under the cars kinda scary.thought the middle dpu was going to hit the camera 📷. You need to do more like that when safe..good video tho.
Sadly as of April 2022 the cheswick plant will be permanently closed a victim of Obama’s 2009 war on coal sadly they all are betting the farm on Natural Gas , which is at its highest price since 2014, and up 180% this year alone
Crazy to think that tunnel appearing structure is from the old 43rd street bridge, which was a wooden “Toll” bridge replaced by the 40 th st bridge in the early 1920s 1923 ??? I think ,my gram used to always tell me about the 43rd st bridge and I thought she was just confused but she was born in 1898 and set me straight ironically the old 43rd st bridge was bought as salvage by a large wooden match company, Diamond match I heard, to be cut into matches
I like your videos, WallieB26. I lived in Millvale for 5 years, was a volunteer firefighter and EMT there. When I was younger I'd run from Willow Creek Station in Millvale to Sharpsburg and back along the tracks. I live in Shaler now. Hope we cross paths someday. Cheers!
