I love how people like Norman destroy the old notion that hip-hop is for the young. Hip-hop is for those, who have something to say, no matter the age.

Norman knocking on his own head at "What you gonna do when the big bad wolf comes knocking at your door, huh? Tell me that" is such a good analogy for depression. Such a simple action yet a genius one with so much meaning

glad he's returned his darker style, as much as i love the northern boys, his solo stuff just hits different with realistic imagery. a twisted yet powerful poet of our times.

This is so real about loneliness, alienation, financial struggles, and ways he's regretted hurting others. Also, the dangerous ways he and many of us cope. I think it hits harder Norman has survived on this planet for a long time. These are struggles shared by younger people, but when you've been around for a while to process it… Oof. True art. As a cyberpunk fan I also love that he drops some references in there that I enjoyed, including Ghost in the Shell and (possibly from the Matrix?) "Back from the dead. Ripping out the plug in the back of my bald head." Mmph, that's good.

Unironically this could be something special, knowing norm, and the fact that every single person who has done a sindhu sesh, their best track has always been said sesh. This could be game changing.

I've literally been homeless, without shoes, and pumped full of holodal, with nothing but a hospital gown in the Seattle rain. I had to start from absolute scratch. Step one.....find shoes. Step two....find clothes. Step 3 ......find shelter and food, while being dope sick and supporting a heroin addiction. All this without anything to may name....not even shoes or clothes, I was also just released from the hospital pumped full of holodal, which is a serious meds that makes you not be able to talk or walk right. It makes everything you do slowed and slurred....can you imagine? I will never forget that. I know exactly what he means when he says lose it ALL, and make it back.....

Notice it's the same homeless and struggle theme as his previous song "Sonnet" but now with a twist about coming back from the brink, damaged but back nonetheless. He has the same plastic bag, "everything i own fits in a plastic bag" from sonnet, same outfit.. im extremely impressed by the story telling.
