I just found out, that if you use the M8 Scott tank at the very start of the D-day landings map, and shoot in the little slits and square holes of the bunkers that have flashing lights, you will ABSOLUTELY RACK UP KILLS FAST. In just over a minute I had at least 50 - 60 kills just using M8 scott in the middle of the beach shooting at the bunkers.

Other thoughts: Becoming a fan of binoculars for tankers. Improves your odds of spotting a grey zone enemy before your get one shot and butt hurt. Also greatly improves your ability to hit infantry w the machine gun from longer ranges.

@@DyonisX you equip your binoculars while outside the commander hatch then simply use your tank's roof mg while the binoculars are equipped, if you're on pc the default key for binoculars is the 8 key (I would recommend rebinding it)

This comment changed the game for me, I always give commander and the loader binos now. Shell from long range, maybe take a tank out, then I charge in until they blow me up. I legit get 150 kill games when I play tanker now.

Just got the hurry home mustang tonight. Jesus is that thing absolutely filthy... Those 500 lbs bombs are mental. Almost every bomb drop was a 8-16 player multikill. One of the best investments I made.

The guide is really in depth and you give a lot of good tips. However my only problem with Normandy US campaign is that it always feels like I have 2-3 actual human teammates and the rest are just AI...no marks, no spawn points and they just dance around the capture point. I like the challenge, but a 3-4 loose streak in a row with zero captures really can burn me out for the day.

Good stuff .please keep up the good work. I could watch these all day thanks to the lack of stupid sound effects, lame jokes or other distractions just lots of solid intel from a knowledgeable & down to earth Enlisted veteran. I appreciate you pointing out that many aspects of this game are asymmetrical, which in my opinion, is what makes it awesome. Combat rarely takes place between 2 evenly matched and armed combatants. As my drill sergeant said " if you're fighting fair you are doing it wrong" BTW you have a great sounding accent( to my uncultured American ears), from where do you hail?

Also I disagree about artillery squads. Frequent artillery buff is effective and being able to lay down a shyte ton of smoke supporting your team attacking an open layout objective can have a strong impact on the game

I think there’s so many different tools like that the game gives us (arty, vehicles, engineers, different grenades, etc) that inevitably because of how obviously nd frequently useful some of them are, some get overlooked or seen as less useful. Personally I prefer using actual arty on open objectives ( or usuallly around the obj) . Some ppl would probably rather run another heavy weapons squad or bring the Rut in the form of mortars. This game is something I had no idea I wanted, but I love finding different fighting styles as I go thru different campaigns nd constructing special squads accordingly. Yesterday I upgraded my rifleman ii squd to carry two weapons so they can have one kar98 rifle and another with the grenade launcher loaded. Support stuff like smoke will get overloooked for things that go boom nearly every time.

Smoke can be incredibly useful ; both to provide concealment for friendlies as well as to obscure the vision of enemy tangos. If they can't see you they can't target you (Watch out for stray rounds)

M1928A1 is actually the best thompson ONLY if you have the -30% horizontal recoil reduction perk which effectively lowers the horizontal recoil to 13.3 which is roughly the same recoil at the M1 Thompson with better vertical recoil, and a much faster reload. BUT, the M1 Thompson with the -30% Horizontal Recoil Reduction perk would be 9.1 HR, so could also be better in that regard.

The M1919A6 is actually what got us to buy the Soviet Beltfed DP Machinegun squad, wanted something that basically does the exact same job of mowing down HOARDS of Nazi's, no regrets whatsoever, despite almost all premium's being overpriced xD Can confirm, it performs it's job excellently, though the sights are a bit trash. Edit: You say the Jumbo is basically a fortress, honestly it really isn't, the front is strong, very strong, but it still goes boom when hit by a Panther or Tiger, even from the front, almost regardless of where they hit it, from the sides and rear it's weak everywhere from high tier AT weapons. Additionally, it literally can't kill Tigers unless you hit very specific spots, and even then it tends to just bounce, literally managed to outplay a Tiger driver and force them into the gray zone, the only damage done was by HE on the back of the turret due to the blast radius covering the engine bay vents, and they somehow kept putting out the fires without even exiting the tank (possible glitch that was occurring back when this happened?) Definitely going to attempt your suggested forced crew dismount by gun destruction method, may finally have a reliable method of taking out Tigers with ye' ol' Jumbo.

The jumbos have stabilizers so if they keep moving it makes it very hard for you to hit their weak spots while they are able to take accurate shots at you

PD- thank you for the in-depth analysis. My one ask is that you state the name of the weapon or vehicle more explicitly and more frequently rather than “this thing.” Listening and watching on my phone, I have rewind and zoom in and it s like a sniper staying focused for long periods of time. Thanks for understanding. Your analysis otherwise is a force multiplier!

You can actually kill a tiger with a m5a1 but you have to get shots in the engine vents, which isn't easy

I use the Axis because the German first plane because it acts like a modern A-10 with 2x 30mm and a 37mm +4 massive rockets that can easily kill tanks. The Bf-109 is also fun but the bombs are tiny and not as effective as the rockets.

Great guide but I think the video is really too long. I think you should just follow the format of the Stalingrad video where you only go through the campaign levels in order. That is the best and most useful information in my opinion.

until you get the really good MG guns, the SMG are better on your soldiers. also assaulter mobility is really strong in the beginning, when you mostly have only bolties

sometimes it makes sense to do so, mostly im too lazy too aim and do it therefore. the bullet always hits the center of your screen, so you just get used to where that point is on your screen and after a while you dont need to aim and can do it automatically.

I'm at lvl 8 and I just looked at my profile for the first time and realized I have a lot of accomplishments for which I received bronze and silver weapons and personnel rewards. How would you spend them? Should I wait until I level up and gain access to better squads/weapons or should I spend them now - and on what?

@@azbdizzy4176 2 optimal ways: either wait 1-2 months for the new game system to be launched, then we will have perfect information which weapons will be good/usefull with the battle rating system. OR: pick a campaign you absolutely love to play now and give them good weapons. spreading out is the worst thing to do currently.

yeah thats the overall impression. lone fighters is cool, but its exactly what other shooter games already also offer. the squad mode is what makes enlisted unique so thats what people prefer.
