She deserves a label that appreciates her...she has a vision her music videos are great I think it's insulting she had to invest anything into her project this is her first song in 2 years they should of pulled out all the stops for this girl..I'm rooting for her to win.

I like her energy in this interview compared to the others. She was so chill and relaxed, and I like the questions. The question about women taking too long to get dressed, the question about her love life, the question about how she handles negative feedback and so forth. She doesn't mention her love life and stuff along those lines often. So this is my fave interview of hers, thus far. No generic and repetitive answers, like the others. Props to the hosts, because they played a big role in how comfortable and fun the interview was. It felt like old friends just hanging out. I loved it.
I really like this interview, although I didn’t like the woman being on her phone in the beginning. Normani’s really good at skillfully redirecting questions, coming from her pageant background, but here she seemed pretty relaxed. I didn’t hear her typical responses, like the ones from the other two interviews, that she did on this day. Those interviews were pretty similar, in the way that she answered questions. It was nice to hear her talk about the behind the scenes budget situation, her wanting to remove the mirror scene (which ended up being a favorite, for many people), her 3 dogs, her stance on women taking long to get ready, etc. It felt personal, and not scripted or rehearsed.

Atlantic is doing more for this song then her label. They see the longevity of this song. No wonder cardi was promoting the song so much. She knows what it’s like to spend your own money on your music. I know cardi is pushing her to sign with Atlantic.
Atlantic would offer her a slave contract aka 360 deal. Also, they are not doing much with her bandmate Lauren so I don't think there is more they can do for Mani
I really hope mani signs to Atlantic in the future, because once they see potential in an artist they PUSH them as much as they can and RCA is not doing that at all...

And if Cardi wasn't on the song y'all would've complained that the song would've been better if she had put in a rap verse with someone like a Cardi or Nicki. @@CC-rm9uq its reverse tinashe was doing fine independent then she signed to a record label and got screwed. it wasn't until recently she broke away and went independent again and shes actually doing wayyy better. Normani can go independent but she NEEDS a strong team and confidences in herself she can conquer and go beyond our own imaginations

Sad that she literally had to invest her own money! She must be taking tips from Rihanna and getting deals to fund her own music projects. That is what Rihanna had to do when her financial team mismanaged her money.
Rihanna’s label refused to fund her videos and that’s why her manager started getting her deals and using any money that came in to pay for her career. That on top of the fact that her accountant was trash all played apart in her almost going broke.

For some reason it always touches me to hear any of the ex-Fifth Harmony members talking about the group. I miss them too, and I didn’t even get into them until recently. And I don’t know what it is about Normani, but I feel like she’s different from the others in a way, I’m not saying that’s a bad thing. It’s great to see them all doing their own thing, but are you sure the group is never coming back?
