why didn't she combine this channel with her old channel where she has more subscribers ? Ah I think she wants to keep it only with her name NORMANI without Kordei, like Beyoncé or Ciara or Rihanna. I just noticed she deleted her family name on Instagram and twitter as well. But it will be weird since the fandom's name is Kordeination.
I really appreciate Normani because she's not just doing R&B or hiphop which seems to be the only acceptable genre for black artists. She's bringing the needed diversity we need in our community's music! 💜💜💜
"Slow Down" is one of those weird songs you feel lukewarm about in the beginning. At first, I thought the song was basic and boring, but now it's on repeat! With headphones, you can hear the song's subtleties and simple beauty.
@@BOBBOB-dy9xw how is she overrated when she gets tons of hate off of the simplest things? And y'all hype up mediocre artists all the time she deserves the praise
The Normani era has begun because Normani is that bish. I’m loving this song and am so proud of how far Normani has come and how much further she has to go in the music industry. Her and Calvin Harris make a great team and if this is the type of music Normani is bringing out to the world she’s gonna be bigger than expected. Definitely looking forward to her album and we just covered Normani’s new song “Dancing With A Stranger” on my channel, hope you will watch it. Normani is the new R&B princess.
Normani broke highest debut for a female solo artist from a girl band with love lies debut at 43 Normani had the highest climbing song on top 10 And guess what she'll continue to break records !!!!
●LYRICS● Verse 1: Normani Oh, oh Everybody slow down Everybody, everybody slow down Everybody be on the low down And it's cool if you wanna be slow, no, no doubt Remember that night in your old house? Remember that time when you broke down? Seeing that you're happy, that you dropped that chain No I'm not, I'm not the one to hold down [Pre-Chorus: Normani] Champagne, I took your clothes off Champagne, and your calling other girls out And I'm making it high like a soldier And you're making me take my clothes off I still don't get it, I'm stealing your time But I still feel your heart, so I am asking [Chorus: Normani] Could you just be real? Don't be scared to feel this We can make the world go still Could you let me feel this? You can risk it, but I'll be here I can make your lonely disappear right I [?], could you just me real? Could you just be real? [Verse 2: Normani] Ain't nobody home now Ain't nobody, ain't nobody home now Everybody be on that night life flow When I exit the club, so they putting on a show now, roll down I ain't tryna move like a dummy I'm tryna move real so you trust me I'm tryna show you that other people try But it's like, I don't wanna touch me [Pre-Chorus: Normani] Champagne, I took your clothes off Champagne, and I'm missing all my phone calls And I'm making it high like a soldier And you're making me take my clothes off I still don't get it, I'm stealing your time But I still feel your heart, so I am asking [Chorus: Normani] Could you just be real? Don't be scared to feel this We can make the world go still Could you let me feel this? You can risk it, but I'll be here I can make your lonely disappear right I [?], could you just me real? Could you just be real? [Outro] Could you just be real? Real, real, real Could you just be real? Could you just be, could you just be
Damn I love Normani's voice. I thought it would be a little more weird listening to her solo because the group was together so long but this comes together so naturally and my boo sounds magnificent too. I'm riding the wave with this new era

I don't want to hear no more about how this girl has "basic" vocals - this girl's voice has character, and she can morph it into many things in order to make her songs put you in a certain mood. I'm so proud of Normani - I love the mature music she's making. "Checklist" might be the catchier song, that could get her a possible number 1, but "Slow Down" is the more quality song that could earn her & Calvin a potential Grammy - so, pick your poison.
