Such a beautiful plane. Weird how they had that weird long , narrow weapon/fuel tank bay between the engines designed to drop nukes! Must have looked like the plane was taking a dump when it deployed a weapon from there😂
@@guaporeturns9472 haha yeah, I dont recall any other aircraft with a load out set up in that position. Very unique this this aircrafts bomber variant. Definately would look funny coming out 🤣 Thanks for watching 😀👍
Nice! Watching your reviews is going to cost me money very soon, I imagine. The details on this are very nice, and I learned that the Vigilante had a tailhook that retracted behind a set of doors. Good stuff! 🤠👍
Haha I do apologise for that!!! The videos were a way of people saving money to see models without buying them, but its a double edged sword, also makes you see more models and spend more, haha. Same thing has happened to me, I'm sure if I didn't decide to do a RU-vid channel as well I probably would have fewer models!!! But I am having fun, so that's what the hobby is about, haha. Surrounded by diecast metal and being broke is the lifestyle of the diecast collector 😂
@@heavymetaldiecast It's all good, my man... you're having fun and enjoying your collection as well as I am seeing it and adding to my own. But, you are opening my eyes to some sweet metal that just might look good on my shelves too. ✌️😁
@@espeescotty part of the fun is hunting some of these older ones down, but boy some can be pricey!! So prepare to donate some organs for some of these awesome models. Thanks again for supporting the channel. Happy Hunting!!
Your video took me back to when I collected my first vigilante over nine years ago and this was the only plane I wasn't really a big fan of believe it or not for such a large collection I only have one of these 😂 great review!
@@Patriot407 To be honest there is much to this. Just the landing gear options and that's it. Nothing fancy, but it certainly has some shelf presence. I would like to get the SEA camo one, that looks nice. Thanks for taking the time to check out the video and comment. Appreciate it 😀👍
Not got one of these and it is a gap in me USN collection. Though large (VERY large) it is simple so it has not been on my radar much (if you pardon the expression) but now- yeah. Must get one. For me that small aerial probably should be super glued in and then cut a small hole in the plastic box to accommodate it when re boxing. That way you are not going to spend hours crawling the floor looking for it or sitting on the sofa in deep lament wondering, wondering, wondering. Like the painting by W F Yeames-"When did you last see your aerial?"
@@peterhewson3216 haha yes that small piece will be easy to loose. The recess for that part is not very deep either. I don't think many people think about these aircraft much. Pitot tubes and aerial's are instantly teleported to the void of nothingness as soon as it slips from your fingers....especially on carpet 🤣. I do my videos in my garage that has a light coloured concrete floor and even I have spent times on hands and knees swearing my head off while looking for a part that's dropped off 🤣
