On September 28th, North Captiva Island took a direct hit from Hurricane Ian. 39 of us rode out the Category 4 storm and witnessed the devastation and power of nature firsthand. Our island was lucky; no injuries or deaths. We are rebuilding and will be the premier vacation destination again very soon.
