It seems like every time I hear a strong narrative that a team has bad defense, they go out in their next game and play great defense - and usually win.

I watched both of these teams play every second of both their games…… the line on the mich st game was off imo, it should’ve been more like 6.5…. So now I feel like Vegas thinks 4 is what bama should get when they messed up on msu. Personally after watching these two play, I think UNC wins by 8-10 points honestly. Bacot is playing out of his mind. RJ Davis might score 30 against bama. I think this is a bad matchup for a run and gun bama team. UNC has way more ways to win this game

I think this matchup will ultimately come down to the availability of Latrell Wrightsell Jr for Alabama. He was 5/6 from 3 against Charleston, but got hurt early vs GCU and went out. With UNC averaging 81 PPG and playing the #17 strength of schedule, while Alabama is scoring 91 ppg against #1 strength of schedule, I feel like there's potential for Alabama to run away with it if they have all their guards healthy and it turns into a fast paced shoot out. But if Alabama is short handed, or if UNC slows it down into a half court game, Bacot will be able to feast.

Latrell is a huge component, guard depth is lacking without him and Bama is forced to go with a two big lineup when he’s out which they would rather play a 4 guard lineup which they’re better at. Latrell is also one of bamas best defenders and 3 point shooters

I’m a Bama fan and can tell u…..they’ve beaten a top 25 team once the entire season, 0 times away from home. They turn the ball over too much, defense is 🗑️, and not a good rebounding team….and without Wrightsell on top of that I believe. Literally the only way they have a chance to win is if they’re hot from 3 and somehow significantly decrease the turnovers.

If you bet using Bryan's advice, you'd be better off putting your bets on black or red. "Other than Duke, Bama is better than anyone in the ACC." Are you kidding me? Pitt would be Bama on a neutral floor. The SEC has shown itself to be an average at best conference, while the top half of the ACC is better than any, other conference. Carolina will challenge Bama's 3 -point shooters. This game won't be a blowout, but covering 3.5 is like stealing money, just like it was with Michigan State.

Pittsburgh would beat Alabama but lost at home to a 8 win Mizzou team that finished winless in SEC conference play 😂 buddy I want whatever you smoking. The same Pittsburgh team that got beat by UF at home by 15. So Pitt is 0-2 against the SEC this season and both games were at home losing to a Mizzou team that finished 14th in the SEC and a getting blown out by a UF that finished 6th in the SEC. Again I won’t what you’re smoking 😂

You edited your reply, and this was the best you could come up with? First, I don't really care about Pitt one way or the other, I just spew facts. Pitt lost their star freshman recruit early in the season, and evidently has some issues adjusting. The 2 games you mentioned were 4 MONTHS AGO! Pitt finished winning 8 out of their last 10; they only lost to Clemson (away) and Wake (away), who was actually an outstanding home team this year. That's the pertinent history (you can look up pertinent). The SEC isn't a basketball conference. By Friday night, you'll have 1 team left. So, Saturday morning you can chug your moonshine or light your bowl, but you'll still be rooting for a loser conference. GO HEELS!

Exactly! As someone who has been an attorney for over 20 years (the first 12 sending criminals to prison in Philadelphia) I'm quite good at making logical arguments, no need to resort to emotion. The fact that I have no emotional attachment to Pitt, or the rest of the ACC, makes my point stronger. I care about facts. Alabama's basketball team is middling at best. Pitt finished the season extremely strong, which the committee is supposed to care about. Alabama racking up wins in a weak basketball conference doesn't make them a good team. How do I know the SEC is weak? The tournament speaks for itself. Could Alabama upset my Heels, slightly possible, but I wouldn't bet on it unless you are getting about a dozen points. The line against Michigan St was stupid, and so is this one.
