I was coming here to say the exact same thing. I’ve lived in both places and so prefer North Charleston to Detroit.

@@robinkohl9827 Amen sister, I'm from Detroit but live in AZ. now but I miss the good old days, I was born in the 50s but got out of Detroit in 77 and I love Arizona.

As it should and Detroit still has beautiful ancient history don’t just stop at Detroit

Exactly why they gentrified downtown charleston first in the united states in the early 2000s. No place in the world like Downtown Charleston.

@@whoahna8438 I been there before. Charleston, Savannah and New Orleans the 3 sister cities so theres definitely alot of similarities but just like New Orleans is 1 of a kind so is Charleston.

South Carolina in general is boring af. No money or opportunities. You either having kids and/or working a 9-5 if not then you just on some BS. I had to get tf out of there it’s like a slow death out there.
