Hello Tracey&Jim,1st i 'd like to say that i love to watch your channel. I admire the way you're making a living! In my youth i worked as a farmhand and ran combines aswell. The 1st 1 was a tiny Clayson M103 with a 10ft header 🙂(used to be a Belgian brand before it blended in with NH) I would give a million💰💰💰 to team up with you guys ! Keep safe and have a blessed harvesttime! Grtz from Belgium.
It always nice to see how people set up there unloading and bin set up everyone has there own ideas and space thanks for letting us watch for a bit god bless and have a wonderful day
@@Woodyriverdesigns It's a beautiful province. I'm glad you can get here whenever you have the time. If you've never seen Moraine Lake you might want to see that. The colors will blow your socks off. It's near Lake Louise. All the best :-)
Great video! It is so visually satisfying watching those rows of corn harvested. How much if the operation is done with remotely with GPS?? Also, what do you guys do during the winter?
Great video. It’s quite hypnotic watching the wheat being cut. Where about in ND are you based? My family here in Kent, UK had farms and all hands were on deck when they did combining. Al
I look at this video and all I can think is how fortunate we are to live in the wonderful land. I don't care what the Democrats say. We live in the greatest country on Earth!
Love your videos, I really enjoy watching the big machines farming. I know everyone on youtube wants to be a critic. One suggestion, sometimes its nice just to hear the equipment don't feel like you need to add music. :-)
Thanks for your comment and suggestion. I’d like to include the equipment sound vs music however if it’s shot from the drone, the only sound if possible would be the propeller noise. 🙂
Is it common for some farmers to wait until January to combine corn in North Dakota? I keep hearing about leaving corn out until January so that it dries and it doesn’t seem like it would be very easy so get equipment to run that time of year
You know your bulch standard from road and truck and tarp and hogwash,,when you look Corn Bread in the Maida. Thats for sure,,or lo en lowe lobe,,a Mich Mud,,no whop for muddy wheat,,thats pull a turn in work, better weather too!
i guess all of that, but soil quality-fertiliser-right amount of rain, and so on helps too,, not to mention right type of corn and no bugs and no storms destroying the crop!
Wow thats a great yield that far north. What part of ND are you. Im hoping to put one smaller field i next year. Im about 150 northn of the border. Lots grown in South MB. But not up here except for silage. Ive got smaller fields surrounded bu bush so hope that will help with extra heat units.
Why do you ask? That machine has has a dingle longitudinal rotor from front to rear just behind the rear of feeder house the final cleaning is done over two very large seives.
@@Woodyriverdesigns Thanks for the reply, my wife and I are retired, (in our 70s) always been near agriculture. My mother was from the Weymere? (Spelling?) Area. God's blessings on you and yours? Ron
