Jarred Gillet for you. As an australian, i saw this ref officiate in our league here and he was horrendous. I still don't understand how he got a gig overseas in the biggest second division league in the world. You lot complain about your officials, wait til you see ours, Gillet isnt the only one XD

Ref removed the 'Spirit' from the game at HT. Multi-million dollar organizations who's destinies are controlled by the emotion of a child with a whistle... Maybe time to have Red-Cards reviewed by VAR or an 'off-pitch' Official before handing out?

Complained to the ref and said “that’s a f-ing foul, ref” when we didn’t get a decision. Probably should have been off for his earlier tackle anyway but seemed a very soft second yellow
He ran towards the ref throwing his arms and swearing. By the letter of the law it's a second yellow. Maybe the ref could have calmed it down and gave a warning but sending him off wasn't a bad decision like Sunderland are making it out to be.
You need to bear in mind Boro's Sam Greenwood was booked for descent earlier in the half after Isiah Jones got incorrectly booked for a fantastic challenge to stop a Sunderland counter . The ref was therefore consistent in giving a second yellow to Dan Neil for decent.
first half was about 50/50 but i agree the game may have been different if the player didnt tick the referee off XXXDDDDDDDDDDDD or tony mowbray should have picked better tactics for the 2nd half. thats no excuse to let 4 goals in, you still have 4 defenders.
