Happy birthday! Anything new added to the stash? Never heard of this place! I'm only in Middlesbrough so will have to sweet talk the wife into a visit on (another 🙄) ikea trip. Have you visited the North East Model Centre? Went there a few months ago but it allowed again as the wife hated the awkward drive getting to it.
Thanks! No, nothing else as I've got far too many. Been to the model shop a few times, always something tempting! Nice chaps there, but what's the smell downstairs? Damp?
@@nostalgicplastic4323 I'd hope the smell was just the ingrained smell, you know an older version of the BO smell you get in games workshops?! Haha Not sure where you are based but there's good local to me. Closest is redcar model & Hobbies (I can nip out on lunch at work & hide the purchases when I get home!) which has a good range & also sell used kits. Beanie games. In Stockton is mainly a board game store but has been expanding model kits. Last week I found a TINY mixed model & toy shop in grainger market, Newcastle. Quite a varied selection but it is hard to look though the piles in such a confined spaces, plus I'd take a torch! LOL Monk bar in York is a given. We goto York monthly so I pop off there whilst the wife & mother have a coffee. Last month we went to Edinburgh & I did the same. There, spending an hour in Wonderland. That's a big shop & very well stocked.
