My friend and I have traveled to ID to fish the North Fork of the CDA a couple of times (from PA). Lovely fishery, beautiful landscape. Great work on the video!
Good job guys. The north fork is definitely not an easy river to fish since trout are picky/ spooky. The timing couldn't be any better for you guys. Thanks for sharing. Oh and thanks for letting us know where you're fishing instead of saying " this ririver " or " thar creek" (as if someone from New York would go there to decimate the fish population and litter the area with beer cans cigarette buds
Thanks for the kind words and thanks for watching the video!!! Admittedly we don’t always say where we are in every video but when it’s a famous location we definitely do. If you ever watch our minuscule channel and want to know where a location is you could always email us at the address listed on our profile. Thanks again friend!!!
Awesome video and beautiful fish! Any tips on catching my first trout on a fly there? Should I use a dry dropper setup like you did and if so what dry fly and what nymph
Thanks! If you are new to fly fishing I would recommend using just a single fly. One fly is much less likely to get you tangled or wrapped around the fish if you do catch one. My advice is to use a heavy nymph like a lightning bug, prince nymph, or hares ear. But if you are looking for a dry fly eat try using a chubby Chernobyl or hopper type fly, they are easy to see on the water and fun to catch fish on. Good luck!
@@davebeningfield I was waiting for this comment Dave!!!! The song was revealed to me by a creator who I quite admire 😉 Thanks for the inspiration my friend.
