It seems that some dog owners just don't care about anyone else's enjoyment of the beaches. Their dogs should be under control in any public space which means NOT letting them annoy other people, however they seem to think it's ok and acceptable behaviour. I wonder how they would react if you went over and started to rummage through their belongings? Maybe even helped yourself to some of their property? Or peed on it?
Totally agree. I love dogs, it’s not their fault they have incompetent owners. I’m sure if their dog got a hook in it’s mouth it would be 100% our fault and we were the negligent ones!
@@markfenton224 The negligence is theirs not yours. Their dog is their responsibility not yours. You have a reasonable expectation that they will control their dog in public. If they cannot control their dog then it should be on a lead. They can clearly see you and can keep their dog away so it's not your fault if they chose not to. If a dog ran over a family's picnic blanket and got a fork stuck in it's paw would you blame the family having the picnic? If all dogs were controlled as required by law then we would all be able to enjoy our various activities without incident. I never impose myself on others and I expect others to treat me with equal respect.
I went fishing yesterday and drew a blank at Braddock road , but did catch a red setter dog in the back side after telling the owners there was lines out but they didn’t listen and then the inevitable happened and he then asked me to get it out to which I replied I only unhook fish ,he then asked for pliers so I lent him some ….no thanks for the loan of pliers. A while later the owners and said dog walked around the back of me with dog under some sort of control 🤷♂️ shame they didn’t listen the first time.
