The mayor of North Olmsted and members of the police department held a news conference Tuesday afternoon to provide updates about a Monday stabbing at a grocery store that left a mother injured and her 3-year-old child dead.
You know the answer to your question. If the news kept on saying An African Female did the crime they would immediately pull out the race card and state that because blacks are held back and live in poverty she should not receive the death penalty because of all the hardships she faced growing up. I bet that when she is in court, her attorney will definitely pull out the race card. I see stuff like this all of the time.

I am in Mental Health and although, she did not have it in her background, something was wrong that day to make her want to just stab somebody. She stole the knife and followed them out of the store, than attacked them and walked away with the knife. I really feel, she was going to stab other people that she saw that was in a vulnerable situation. For whatever reason, she snapped.

Our national identity - our mythology, if you will - has been promoted and inculcated into us all whether native or immigrant, young and old. Key features of said mythology include our "superior" characteristics as a country, the things that make us "the greatest," things like representative democracy, a giant economy, the largest military in the world, and supposedly the fairest domestic and political freedoms. We have things that many others do not, like civil rights written into our law code, chances for appeal in various situations, and the right to travel freely from one state to another, for example. However, when we see those things thwarted, perverted from their purpose, exploited in ways that end up leaving a bad taste in the mouth, when we see injustice run rampant and apparently unchecked, when we are abused by our own police, landlords, bosses, partners, or even strangers, and cannot find either justice or protection, we feel that those mythologies are just made-up propaganda to keep us contributing to the economy whether we choose to or not. And that's just the tip of the iceberg. Freedom of religion means anyone can do almost anything and call it religion. They can mislead people about established religions because everyone has freedom of speech but also because education is ineffective in this country in a lot of places - because of "states' rights" to suppress history, and to mistreat, impoverish, and even execute the people who happen to live within their borders. A freedom or a right in one state can land you in prison or massive legal trouble in another state, as if a legal book hits us as we cross state lines, lol. We tout ourselves as the land of the free while million of us rot in prisons and jails, many INNOCENT. We try to live up to our motto of the home of the brave, but cowardly people with guns murder us and our children daily and nightly and no one stops it because of the sacred thing we call "gun rights." Need I go on? We're a freaking mess. And I didn't even TOUCH our problems with racism and the denial of racism, or classism, or homelessness, or wage theft, OR the lack of universal healthcare or a social safety net of any kind. *stares catatonically*

I have a 4 year old little boy. I cannot even imagine what this Mother is going through. I am devastated for her. God be with her. Prison is too good for her. This breaks my heart. There's just no words.
This was not a random act of violence. They were followed in the grocery store they were sought out and then they were followed into the parking lot and then stabbed this was premeditated. This is the hate crime.

It was not accidental, the video shows that this rat saw the little boy and his mother from afar and followed them to the parking lot. It was a completely targeted attack.

The complete innocence here, a mother taking her child grocery shopping. The groceries strewn across the parking lot next to the tipped over cart is a heartbreaking scene.

The minute that I saw the video, the first thing that I thought of after watching it is that her defense team will claim that she is mentally ill and was raised in a poor environment when she was a child. That defense is always used for those animals when they commit a major crime.

There's a lot this cop ain't saying, last Thursday she was arrested on an outstanding warrant and the same day this incident took place she showed up earlier in the day at the police station inquiring about some missing money she had on her possession when they arrested her the prior Thursday 🤔

He was attempting to explain his earlier comments that she would make a full recovery. He was cleaely referring to physical injuries; however, some people made comments that she will never fully recover. He obviously felt bad that was misunderstood by a few folks and so he kindly cleared it up. He added that his family lost a 3 year old to relate to the victims and to ensure that he understands the pain which one cannot fully recover. Law enforcement relating to victims is a beneficial and helps victims feel understood. Many get into this career bc of an event in their lives and their desire to protect others and seek justice. He is probably having a hard enough time, as they all are right now, and for him if it hits close to home. There is nothing anyone can say to make things better in this case, and so we empathize and seek justice. I hope this helps to see it another way. Take care everyone! ❤

She "randomly" searched the store for a "random" kind of victim. Then she "randomly" stalked her victims out into the carpark. Then she "randomly" attacked and killed him.
As an African American woman, I send my condolences to that family. I cannot even claim that woman as one of us. As a Christian we have to forgive this “human”. She will stand judgement and that judgement will be much more harsh than anything that a judge on this planet could ever give. Pray for her soul people because she is gonna need it.
