Tim and I drew a blind this November in an impoundment that the state of North Carolina planted in Chiwapa millet and Japanese millet to manage for duck hunting. Despite the mosquitos, we had a great morning
We've hunted norrh river. Had it earlier this season but emergency happened and I had to miss it. Brothers went and got 6 or so . Feast or famine there. Thats the blind we pulled. I recognize it lol
@@fowlplayoutdoors68 what'd y'all end up with this time? Lost count and Missed species. They got shovelers and teal. We saw some ibis' (or something like that with the long red beaks) a couple years ago come out of that back area just to the right in front of the blind. Saw bears when scouting it the Friday evening before the hunt this year
We got five woodies. Saw some teal that we should have shot at and a couple mallards that snuck up in us. We saw a bear the night before on the road leading in. Very cool.
Dang it you’re right. I thought Tim and I hit the same bird on the first shot but I just went back and watched it frame by frame and Al saw 3 splashes. I hate that we left that bird out there. Thanks for watching and pointing that out.
Well I’m hesitant to get too specific as I know many get deeply offended if someone states a location in public. That said, if you got the right blind, your JMF hunt could be great.
Not JMF Gamelands. James Morgan Futch the third is my first cousin. I helped build those impoundments. Sold it to state and bought land in greenwood mississippi.
