Thank you for such a great video! I have a Q. Why should I measure sign-ups instead of how many people actually buy? This more closer to revenue

Hi Natalya! Thanks for a comment and an interesting question. We believe that it’s important that further on the funnel the things are predictable and that a metric may be suitable for quick experiments. If we look at the NSM examples of different products, we see that more often it’s not payments. It’s a metric that allows to guarantee a user’s success or a business’ development before payment stage. Everybody has its own metric in this regards: it can be a quantity of common projects or MAU or DAU or LTV or paying clients or quantity of clients similar to ICP. In other words, you can use them but it depends on a product and what it gives and how strategically flexible you are. We think so. It can really depend on the product adoption, and what target actions you want your segments to make. Having segmentation is a good thing!
