I looked admin leave in Texas , admin leave in Texas is only 32 hours and after that,until the investigation is done and over with and she is either cleared of any wrongdoing or found guilty, she is not paid and no pay until she is back to work. The school has the right to uphold the law and protect kids in school and that includes any form of abuse. Why should it be any different when the abuse came from a teacher
We must not forget that teachers are almost 100% „left“ people and they protect each other and for this reason she is still a teacher, in fact she should be in jail. It is a filthy stinking issue, she is still teaching+she receives the salary.

A 3rd Degree Felony Assault charge is WAY too nice. That is a CHILD. 2nd Degree, minimum. Don't give this witch a slap on the wrist because if she's done this to him, how many other kids has she abused verbally, emotionally, mentally and/or physically in her career? This is why we need cameras in all schools, in all classrooms, hallways, etc. The parents should be able to log in at anytime to see what's going on at their child's school

Me too! Just imagine what the disabled children are going through since many are non-verbal. I've seen all forms of 3vil coming from every profession.. but mostly from professionals who work with children.
I also homeschool my nonverbal child and I’m a former public school teacher. I saw all types of violations and I’ll say the good teachers were punished for speaking out but I still would’ve been the teacher whispering to the parents “ask to see the footage”.
Im almost 73 years old, age is no excuse! The school systems are totally messed up, this poor child, probally has developed ptsd Im a domestic violence survivor, am a grown woman and I have ptsd, imagine being a 4 year old??!!! Of course he has changed, this makes me furious!!!!!

You DO know the U.S. has one of the worst retirement systems among Western, 1st world countries and MANY 73 year olds are still working, so that'd have to be addressed first...

Thankfully, children are now being raised to understand their body is not for adults (besides parents) to slap/spank/whatever. They are allowed the same dignity as an adult, believe it or not. Get your kids out of these institutions! They will do everything they can to sweep 'incidents' under the rug. I know. I'm a teacher. I've seen it all the time. To them it's only 1 child, they have many more to deal with. Only to you it's your child. If it were me, I think I might have had to go to that lady's house and have a word or two. Princeton doesn’t care as long as more people keep moving here. They don’t want to do anything about it to get more money from the families moving into the town.
I was assaulted by an instructor in nursing school, they flipped the script and expelled me I reported it to police and they did nothing and to this day they harass me.

Looks can be deceiving! A lot of parents are in disbelief when they find out how their little kiddos really behave at school. So many parents are in denial about their kids' unruly and disruptive behavior until they see it for themselves. I say this as an educator. Some of them are wild and they will test you!!

That's why we homeschool. Little ones can't verbally express themselves. You protect your children by keeping them away from strangers. Four year olds don't need 'school'.
This is awful!! Allen ISD isn’t any better! Something very similar happened to my grandchild and nothing will done about it! She came home with injuries from a teacher and my daughter was told “the injuries wasn’t severe enough to press charges” unbelievable!!! We are exploring other options for my grandchild to receive justice! Prayers for your child 🙏🏽
I’m a 33 year old female. Even though my biological clock is ticking faster everyday, I don’t mind. This world is not a place to bring babies into. Some could even say, it’s selfish to have them .
((((❤)))) I’m ok with your view point. Children can be a lot of things from a handful to beautiful in certain moments. Parenthood isn’t for everyone and it’s ok to know that it’s not your lane. One can argue it’s selfish on both parts actually even in your case, but I rather someone acknowledge that it’s not for them and take certain precautions than to bring an unwanted person into the world. thanks for sharing this very sad incident. Hope they have an awesome lawyer and get a huge settlement, lawsuits seem to be the only thing these institutions seem to be able to comprehend. She is a undoubtedly a huge risk to other children and needs to be stopped.

Thank you. As the father all I want to do is hug my 3 sons and kiss on them everyday. I don't want this to happen again. I don't want this to happen to anyone else's child and I'll do my best in the future to make sure that it never happens again or at least I'll be on the side of those fighting against people who are a threat to children. If I was the parents, I would sit my son down and ask him how many other students this has happened to. Get a list of names going, contact those parents, and get a civil lawsuit going against that teacher, school, and school district since they’re really not doing anything about it. If she easily treated their son that way then that means that she has done it to other students too.

Wow. No no no. I worked as a teacher in daycare for thirty years. Yes we get frustrated with a child’s behavior but never ever lay a hand on a child. Yes you can speak to that child in a firm manner or put that child in a time away from activities but you do not ever smack or handle that child in a rough physical way. Wow she should have been let go right there and then. I’m wondering if this incident was witnessed by another teacher who was working in the room with her. If that person was the one who reported this burnt out other teacher. Me thinks it’s time for her to retire

Linda Dueer was a long term classroom teacher with disciplinary tactics, such as, corporal punishment. Those kids were probably scared of Ms. Dueer because she was the oldest teacher in the school.

This isn’t the first time. She felt comfortable and has been doing crap like this for a long time. Most children that young can’t tell you exactly how their day went. Jail!!!!! School needs to also be investigated. What else do they just let happen with no consequences.
