Blimey how quiet in Winter, these towns just rely on Seasonal visitors . The old road, before we built the dual carriageway . Happy days !

If I could I'd travel around the UK on all the bus routes, some of these routes, like this one, go to the most lovely scenery and towns. Lovely to see this route in Winter just the best time of year to do these sort of trips when there are fewer people around and you can really enjoy the tranquility of it.

I'm a Llandudno girl (living in Rhos on Sea) so know this route really well. It was lovely seeing it differently though! At 53:27 the grave of Howard Lowe is just on the other side of the wall. He was the fifth officer on the Titanic and the only crew member to go back in a lifeboat. They had him save Rose's life in the movie!!

I get to catch this bus daily for work I love sitting on the top at the front for views. You should do the 5 to bangor that’s a cool journey

Fab video. I haven't been there for years but I can remember when Crosville Wales was the main operator before it became part of Arriva. Olympians ran alongside VRTs including ex-WMPTE ones. As mentioned in a previous comment, the A548 was the main link across North Wales before the A55 was built.

Very peaceful when it’s not in the holiday season but this route extremely busy in the summer which is why deckers were ordered for it
