So envious Alistair! I've been watching the 3 highlight shows from the NW200 over the past few days. Excellent weather and fantastic racing. My CBX came out of hibernation yesterday ahead of the Distinguished Gentleman's Ride this coming Sunday. Always puts a big smile on my face.
I was at the classic display in the pits on friday last Alistair and noticed your CBX and was hoping to bump into you but unfortunately our paths didn't cross. That was my red Guzzi Spada beside the white Honda VFR that you were filming. Some great machines on show!
I honestly believe that this current spell of good weather will end up being our summer. It'll break around the middle of June and not return until next May. To be honest, the racing wasn't really ever my scene. Sure, even back in the 80's, we only ever went for the piss up!
I understand your frustration Michael. Unfortunately, I had forgotten to connect the swivel mount to the camera. This gives it the extra height required.
