She sound horrible, she didn’t hit that high note, she freaking screamed. Took away an opportunity from an actual talented kid. Nepotism is disgusting

As a parent if you know your child can't sing at all, why embarrassed the world with this nonsense.

I don't want to sound mean, and I'm not gonna give false praise just because she's a 10-year-old kid who belongs to a celebrity, but I have to keep it real. I don't care whose child she is, but when there are kids out there with real talent who work hard honing their craft with dance, singing and acting lessons, not to mention the parents who pay dearly for those lessons, and then the kids have to struggle with auditions in the hopes and dreams of getting a part like that, it’s disturbing that it should go to someone who gets it easily just because of their parent's celebrity and paying dollars for it, or so I’ve heard. Her singing was clearly way off-key and the little I saw/heard; it was disappointing. I think North saw Blue Ivy on stage performing with her mother, Beyonce, and, in her surprise, she said to her mom, “I want to do that too”, and POOF! her parents made it happen for her. Money talks, but boy did they get this one wrong!

I would NEVER let my child embarrass themselves like that.

They can buy castings but they can't buy talent, they can buy followers but they can't buy the love, admiration and respect of the public.

She looked like an "Easter Chick" and it was a kindergarten act!

The biggest problem is not the obvious lack of talent, but the lack of effort. The other cast members were literally leading her around the stage and she learned exactly zero choreography. It seems like she maybe did a single run through, while the rest of the cast has spent 100s of hours honing their craft.

You can tell she was never even given choreography.. She just walks the stage back and fourth..

Pointing out that a child, no matter who their parents are, can't sing isn't trolling. It's telling the truth. She can't sing, and the role should have gone to someone who can sing. How many children cried when she got the role, and they, after all that hard work, didn't get the role? I"'m going to agree that it was who her parents were that got her the role. Not the talent.

North's performance was an embarrassment not just for her, but for everyone on that stage. Still, the fault really lies on Kanye, Kim K and the producers who accepted their check.

“Standing ovation” is fake news. There’s footage of the crowd. No one was standing but her own family, and most people were silent or didn’t applaud. Don’t lie.

The girl did not sing, act or dance. She did not know what to do. Awful but mainly disrespectful.

Her parents should have NEVER allowed her to go up there and do this! Her outfit didn’t fit in with anyone, she sounds crazy, and she isn’t even dancing with the rest of the cast.

Musical theatre plays are so expensive. I'm not paying to see a kid having the time of her life. I'm paying to see professionalism at its best on stage. Period
