Man there's so much to love about this episode but seriously, James being a K Class and his voice, absolutely perfect. Another fantastic adaptation mate.
I can easily get behind the change of James to being a K class, as another Thomas fan on Twitter has done the same thing. Also, those cranes are bloody awesome, whoever made them is a god
At the risk of sounding cliche: Here's James...! But seriously, another great episode in the bag for you Dark, it's only just struck me know that TAF never really played a bit more on this and had Thomas and James bond a bit more over their shared experience's with trucks.
Great work North Western, you know I am impressed with the twists of the North Western Railway and its engines, although they aren’t quite the same as the characters in the railway series and the tv series, but on the whole the arrangements were good and I hope to see more new episodes and new engines coming soon
Will we ever get to see the RWS characters interact with some of sodors Pre grouping locos? I think it would be interesting to see them react to all the larger younger engines taking there work.
This was a grand episode! I'm even starting to get used to 0-6-2 Thomas. :P I prefer the Skarlowey railway theory for the inspiration of James's red livery, though I do think the LMS thing makes more sense. Is your James going to have the polished dome? I personally think the polished metal dome is almost as big a part of James's unique livery as the color itself.
I was curious how you were gonna do the paint scheme lore wise, I would have made james undecided until he wound up at crovans gate then decides on red and blue with a brass dome after seeing skarloey in his open shed.
Dark DJ can I ask about the numbering or the cathedrals as me and my mates have oo gauge models his is 8029 I think and I've not decide on my number can I just check that it doesn't conflict any other cathedrals
