North Wilkesboro Speedway renovations underway ahead of Cup Series 

Good. Now bring back "The Rock" and life will be good!

Back in my truck driving days (late 80's), I had a Monday delivery for North Wilkesboro. I got there Saturday and a man there in town said Nascar is at the Rock on Sunday. I dropped my trailer, and took a 140 mile trip to go watch the race at Rockingham. If I remember, Rusty Wallace won. Hope to be able to watch a race at North Wilkesboro soon.

So happy to see the Ole gal coming back to life. Now all it needs is a race on the schedule and for NASCAR to leave it alone from there. This track could become one of the Crown Jewels if it's left to grow organically NO GIMMICKS, straight up balls to the walls racing.

Stop that Stupid stage racing so I can start watching again!

I have wanted them to save this place for a while. It could have a roof and be used for indoor events too.

Just reinforce the walls so Chastain can use them properly!!!

This is like if people got together and repaired/repaived/rebuilt the original Nurburgring, or Old Monza

NASCAR has become a pretty boys club. These guys couldn't have made it in REAL NASCAR. I wouldn't be surprised if in the next few years the cars don't have air conditioning and blow dryers so they can touch up their hair before exiting the car.

I dunno, Mike Unt. The 2023 All-Star cup race hottest ticket in NASCAR. The truck race will probably be a sell out, too. I'll check cause I want to go!!

Ruined a whole month of dirt racing for one race

The Speedway may have the comeback story- Nascar however, has a LOT to undo before it can claim even the beginning of any type of comeback.... including putting revenue and advertising dollars AFTER driver and crew safety, not before. These new cars are death boxes on tires, not a race cars like some of the older generation of cars that were safer to drive even at higher speeds. If these new cars were capable of the speeds of back when it was truly racing, there would be more fatalities in any single season in those billboards on wheels. All Nascar cares about is their woke image, how much money they can get from sponsors per race, and how can they get even more revenue from each team just to compete. All Nascar has at this point is how Nascar came to be, and the success and longevity of their organization's name... Oh, and the money from the sponsors because getting their brand name in front of cameras as much as possible is what racing is solely all about, right Nascar?

Nascar has become one of the most WOKE sports of all time. The leaders of Nascar are above and disrespect the opinion of the fans. You really can't even tell these cars apart now. The Bud Light Clash they had at the Coliseum last year was a total freaking clown show. Also, all of these road courses are truly a joke. As for me and a lot of other fans that I have talked to, Nascar has totally left it founding fathers and its true meaning of the sport out in the cold. I was hoping that North Wilkesboro would stay away from Nascar and have some real racing as their program.

What about the dirt race they was gonna run I thought they was gonna pull up the asphalt do a big dirt race then repave for next year
