We felt safe but we are always on the lookout. If you were solo it may be a bit more risky.

Drink Tea & Travel you should visit Manaus. I never felt so safe to take out my phone and nothing happened ! People were so sweet and welcoming ! Planning to go back to other sites of the country lovely video guys ❤️

Salvador is in the northeast, but it is not a violent city. According to statistical data, Salvador is safer than Rio and São Paulo. The violent capitals of Brazil are Fortaleza, Natal and Maceió. But Fortaleza itself has a lot of policing in tourist places. In Brazil there is a lot of street policing, violence is practically restricted to poor areas, due to the fight the Brazilian government has made against drug trafficking.

@@williamsilva347 No,man. Salvador is the 19° most violent city in the world and see in ranking and sao paulo has the safest cities in brazil. Rio de janeiro is not even one of the most violent places in brazil and thats why media is focused in rio and sao paulo lol in rio guys just use guns and in northeast they cut your head off and make torture videos. The most violent places in brazil are from northeast in Bahia, dude.
