When I listen to this, I imagine walking on a beach without sand, full of gray stones under my feet. On the mainland, lay a green meadow with a few dark rocks covered in wet moss. In the distance was a long line of tall mountains with clouds and fog enveloping them. In the ocean, you can see sea water that is dark blue and a lot of frozen ice floating. In the sky, it looks cloudy with lots of gray clouds, among them the sky is white. Bright but without light. I imagined myself walking between the land and sea wearing late-middle 18th century clothes and using a cane. The cold air pierced my body. I feel like I'm on a plain to the north of the earth, like north of Greenland or something. But, I am very happy to imagine it. Makes my heart and mind calm. (Forgive my inability to speak English. I'm writing this comment using the help of Google Translate.)

You'd be surprised on how many and often I listen to this. It's very relaxing. Sometimes I let it go on repeat for few hours.

I'm at my computer having had about five cans of IPA since 3 PM (it is now 11 PM so I am not sh*t faced wasted just relaxed). I'm not fantacizing anything like far too many of the previous posters. I'm just meditating on the beautiful music that Andrey Vinogradov creates.

New to Hurdy Gurdy and my god, do I want an adventure!

Your hiking through a snowy pine forest at night, and in the distance you hear this melody playing softly, and you follow your ears as you come to a foggy opening in the trees and before you know it, your walking through a village by the sea with hay roofs and great longhouses, and longships floating at the docks, then you finally enter a tavern with yellow haired warriors with furs on there backs drinking mead and talking amongst each other about the battle that is to come, with a bard playing this tune. They welcome you and hand you a sword and *BOOM* you open yours eyes, it was just a dream.

"Where will you go." They ask. "How do you know they're even alive?" They ask. "Why do you go to such lengths for those who may not even be here anymore?" It's all quite simple. They're my family. I will find them. Or at the very least make sure they've found proper rest. I will search high and low. Far and wide. Continent to Continent. If it means I see my wife and daughter. One last time. I will find them. Even if it kills me. That. Is my purpose now. I simply travel with these companions of mine for my own ends.

Oh my! This is just like a dream. If it were possible, I would inject this melody into my veins to make it a part of me. It is a long northern night, darkness and frost, I almost can feel the warmth of the hearth and hear the howling of the icy wind outside. And I am not sure if it is me who survives this winter. Need to listen to it again. And again.

found this channel some time ago. its beautiful music,helps you to have a relaxed time, it feels sad and melancholic but also calms your mind. im struggling with quimical deppresion (forgot the medical name, but basically i do not produce enough dopamine and serotonine as my body requires) and this and other music really help me out to calm down when im mentally unstable or similar situations. this is truly a beautiful instrument, i feel in some kind of trance or spacing out when i hear it, great for calming yourself before going to sleep. thx for this great music
