@@UnitedLoyalist They are, Im from the Northern Cape and now matter how bad my little town got to this day they still vote ANC. Like my grandma wont listen to me
Thanks Carte Blanche for these episodes. I'm so heartbroken. Our beautiful country has funds but corruption and greed of our politicians rob us of true freedom.
Carte Blance - you guys are incredible! I've noticed a recurring pattern in your series on broken promises. It's striking how every 'premier' interviewed seems to fit the same mould. They're impeccably dressed, and live in beaut houses / work in offices with stunning views (Your Easter Cape episode) , yet falter when faced with probing questions. The audacity to laugh during interviews reveals a disturbing level of arrogance from these people.
Thank you Carte Blanche, we started out with such high hopes and enthusiasm for the Premier and his cabinet, but it has been disappointment after disappointment discovering this man is exactly like any other politician, does not care about the people he is supposed to "serve"
In the hopes of getting close to the trough. The typical ANC voter sees this and thinks it is awesome and wants to know how they can also get their free money
As @jaymac72 said, ANC voters are already looting the trough through the many grants they are getting. It might nit be the millions the cadres are getting but by voting for ANC they can keep their beaks dipped in that trough longer.
The irony of the man in an EFF blazer. The people there vote for either ANC or EFF and they have the audacity to complain about service delivery! Wow they are nuts and totally misinformed about which parties will bring prosperity to their towns!
Did this Premier really say 500 years ???? Soooooooooooooooo unbelievable geez. Did I not puke. I hope our children do better in the near future, because clearly its not gonna happen with this current generation in power.
“The forest was shrinking but the trees kept voting for the axe, for the axe was clever and convinced the trees that because his handle was made of wood he was one of them.”
This is so sad and unfortunate when you have leadership that doesn't have vision to inspires it's nation for growth and innovation, but instead just want to play politics and fill up their coffers behind their high fenced homes. It's an absolute shame. South Africa needs leaders who are even willing to work for free to give their future generations an inspiring future.
Didn't 'The People' vote for this leadership that you're talking about? Maybe the problem is not the useless & corrupt leaders, but the foolish voters who keep voting for the same useless leaders?
Thank you for this valuable program of ''broken promises ''. I have been aware of the corruption and theft, but my mind boggles at the extent. How do we get honest, accountable people into Government. We vote......but see no change.
One 16 min video sums mostly what has gone wrong across so many municipalities across the country - only changing the leaders may bring some change, but you can't hope the same people will suddenly change anything.
We were sitting in raw sewage the whole of December, I begged the Premier to send help, and we spoke to the HOD of the Local Government at different event asking for help, but to this day nothing! no one cares, the way we believed in Saul Zamani, its just so depressing and disheartening
This is what happens when you consistently give your vote to the ANC. For 30 years! I have no pity. You get what you vote for. In this case gross incompetence and systemic corruption.
Vote DA,give them a chance to rule the entire country.if they dont do a proper job then move on,but u have to give them a chance.the anc had their chance and they couldnt achieve a single thing to improve the country.not a single thing.its time to move on people.vote with your head instead of your heart
How long till we realize that these people only care about themselves? I mean just look at where the Premier lives, armed guards, multiple cars yet there is a sewage problem just down the road...🚮 not to mention how he casually said the housing project will start at the end of the month🤧
That R6 million thing is an absolute shocker. What an insult to the person it's supposed to honour. Not even the nyaope boys see any value in it as scrap. Can someone please just get rid of it already?
Just so heartbreaking 💔 Province is so rich in mineral wealth and leading the movement in green energy with vast construction of solar farms in recent years yet it has not translated into economic prosperity for the vast majority But the ruling class of the province lives in ultimate luxury and sheltered from what the rest of citizens has to endure 💔
What a Joke. Big talks by the party leaders etc etc etc but the premier is laughing all the way to the bank. Why does he need 2 guards at his house? and all the BMWs An that poor old lady and the other citizens living in a "litteral" wasteland
I'm actually shocked by what I see, I thought this Zamani Saul guy was on top of his game when he took over as a premier, he promised a clean and efficient government but we now see the opposite. With a budget of R2.5b it can't be that difficult to fix the blocked sewer. Hai I give up 🙄
Lives next to a diamond mine in South Africas but it looks like only the Premiere has been taken care off. I was wondering what is happening with the stront in other areas. Where is the stront-engineers?
The fact that nothing happens to contructors who don't finish the projects are not punished or made to pay back the money buffles me. And the politicians who share the money with them not arrested. We can only go down from here. We have a chance end of months to vote corruption out.
There is one show that I will never forget, Zola 7 where Zola told one mayor "I am tired of hearing this next month story". This must have been over 10 years and here we are still hearing the same "next month" lies.
Yoh, I thought it was bad in Gauteng but Northern Cape is a shameful site. No electricity all these years!!! Ai, I don't know hey. 🚮 I hope they change their votes.
Kimberley is my hometown. Have been visiting my dad for 5 years now and every time i visit, there's never water. However, the water flows through broken pipes on roads. Sol Plaatjies is non existing and sad to see the state of a once beautiful tourist town.

@@VIEWMARY001 “The downside for financial markets is an ANC/EFF national coalition, while a prolonged, lengthy ANC/EFF coalition nationally is not seen as likely (5%) due to the unsustainability of the impact on government finances, financial markets etc,” said Bishop. “Investor sentiment would be expected to collapse (not the expected case) after the election on the announcement of an ANC/EFF coalition/s (down case), seeing the rand depreciate sharply, bond yields spike up, and financial instability ensue.”
It makes zero differance unless that complain go out and vote, but you cant vote MK or EFF, you need better change.............. lots of other parties to choose from
We just got confirmation that you should bring your own black pen when vote. There is people at voting stations who is giving Dual point disappearing ink marking pens. Mark on fabric and other surfaces, ink starts to disappear. Marks can be removed with plain water if desired. Please take your own pens. How much more do we have to take. IEC hope they know all the tricks and trades of these criminals. We please have to receive every voting stations ballad paper before done counting. Should there be any mishiff, this voting will be seen as criminal intent and the date should be postponed.
Its such an easy thing to do, people are not asking any of these leaders to be honest or not take bribes they just want services delivered, how hard can it be... This is echoed in every province regardless of party
