A Northern Cape farmer, who decided to start growing garlic around the time when COVID-19 reached our shores, had no idea that garlic will be one of the most important and sort after plants to help fight the virus. Today, Amos Reed's business is booming and has attracted investors to help him expand and deal with the growing demand. The business is also contributing in the fight against unemployment.
