Northern Govs Reject Tax Reform Bill, Cite Threat To Region 

The northern states have been benefiting from revenue generated by Southern states. Let go back to Regional System of Government,so that all the regions can develop their regions

How can the north reject the Vat bill? They are aware that they are the clog in the wheel of our progress in this country. How can a region that brings nothing on the table collect the highest allocation, determine who become president, introduce sharia law, prohibit alcohol sell and consumption says the won't pay tax? Let them make it compulsory that if you are not tax compliant, you will not vote in Nigeria. Paying tax is essential ingredient for being a qualify citizen anywhere in the world. They must pay TAX!!

This is how democracy works. Disagreeing is fine but you don’t have a vote. Reach out to your reps. No need to cite non-existent threat.
