So great to see Marco on stage even though he wished to completely stop and pullout of the public eye. Let's hope that this performance has helped him to slowly get back to that what he loves to do so much. I think that for him performing with Northern Kings is a smaller step with less presure than going on stage with such a big band as Nightwish. Don't forget the perception in the public eye, if he would be on stage for just one small performance of Nightwish even in a small venue the fan's would go crazy and yelling he is back... I think that this is just too much for Marco at this moment. I think personally he is testing the waters and see where he stands fysically and mentally. I can say only one thing, ..................... "We can only HOPE..."
He did not want to pullout for good, statement said for one year and that he did. He has allready been on stage/recording for almost 8 months just check yt for his collab with others.
Your thought makes a lot of sense. Just seeing him looking well and happy performing with his friends in a lower pressure setting is great to see, and hear. He had a long career with Nightwish, and although missed as part of the band, he has to do what he feels is best. As a huge fan of Nightwish and each of it's artists, I will love them, and Marko, together and separately, and only wish him well. Nightwish has weathered other artist changes and endured, grown, evolved and increased their fanbase.
My prediction is that at the end of the festival season, Nightwish will not continue. I think they will call it quits. Marko not being there is a massive loss. There are so many songs that they can basically no longer perform. I think this is also why Floor has decided to start a solo career. Good to see Marko seeming to be happy again. Wish him all the best.
There's a great interview out there with Marco. This is as far as he wants to go right now. The schedules for Nightwish are too much for him. Let's hope he stays healthy.
JP... this dude has probably the best baritone in metal, what a voice! Great to see Marco back on stage. Northern Kings was always my favourite project of his.
I'm sure these gigs are fully pay per performance so Marko doesn't have to deal with all the industry B.S. that upset him so much. He can just show up, do his thing and check his bank balance after. No pressure and limited appearances. He is nearing 60 so I wish him all the best 😊 to do what makes him happiest.
So much thank You for this video 💚 Thanks to You I know Marco is back! I dream to be at their concert 🔥I don't think they are going to Poland when I live...But Marco was in Poland (Wrocław) 3 years ago-magic, I was there🔥
I have mixed feelings about these new videos, to be honest, I felt happy and excited to know that Marko would return to the stage, but now seeing him makes me kind of uncomfortable
When was this performance? I'm on the fence that it's recent, since Marko told the world he was stepping back from all public life...but he does show a bit of weight...
@@NeeceLoneWolf I feel like you're being sarcastic...dunno why my comment might have been offensive tho...? Please tell me. And actually, I am really fun at parties! I worked in the music industry for 25yrs and I have awesome stories for days! Do you live near me and are throwing a party? Sounds fun to me!
@@juharajaniemi8840 OH very cool! Everyone sounded great, as usual! Sorry if you are also offended by my comment...I am a huge Marko fan, I own all his solo work. And I'm his age...when you slow down, you do.put on a few pounds..it's just a fact. Nothing negative meant by it...
