I love it when you said “is that the wind?” That was too cute!!!!!! I love out in the country in Canada so I’m very familiar with wolves and the cold. I loved the Ice Hotel and ice sculptures!!!! Fun fact: when we were kids we were always told not to wave something white at the northern lights, or it would come and take us away 😮

Aww I’m so sorry.. yes! This year was ‘different’ for all of us .. still travel is far not straight forward. But it seems like Norway might open its borders late summer 🤞🏼🤞🏼 by September. So if you want to see the Northern Lights - seems like it will be possible next winter 🙌🏻 Let’s just hope that this global craziness is coming to its end and very soon we will get our normal life back ☺️ Hugs from Norway 🤗🤗

Hey Anna, Very nice video. You could have made this one 60 minutes or more. The dog sledding was great to see but you should have introduced us to your team of dogs. Perhaps an interview with the Norwegian people that hosted you for this trip. I would have liked to hear what they would have had to say. As for the Aurora Borealis, you nailed it with the luck of seeing them. It is hit or miss and I would think mostly because of cloud cover. I know you will be going back so here's to your luck next time. PS... Did you get any sleep in the ice dome, or did you go back to the warmth of the house?? : )

I live in Tromsø and did not know we had ice domes to sleep in here. I have been to icehotells before but never sleeped in one. But when I was Younger we often sleped in a tent fare up in the Mountains in winther. Are the domes at camp Tamok?

Cruelty is to keep those animals without regular activities. They are going crazy if they don’t spend much of their energy during the day. I thought like you but than Norwegians explain me how it actually works 🙂

@@vykundanathankp853 i love them too so much ☺️ I was exactly like you, I couldn’t imagine that little cute doggies would ever like dragging people on their backs - but then I saw how it actually works 😁 1. Norwegians are the last people in the world who would cause any harm to the dogs 2. They explained to me, that this is a special breed and if they don’t exercise enough during daytime they have too much energy left which is not good for their health So when you see those doggies you feel straight away how happy they are to run ☺️

I might have commented on it in another video (sorry, I am a bit of a petimeter...), but it's not correct to refer to Tromsø as the arctic circle. The arctic circle is in fact the northern of the world's two "polar circles", wich simply is the southern- (arctic)/ northernmost (antarctic) latitudes respectively were the sun can remain continously above the horizon for 24 hours. Tromsø is located almost 400 km north of the arctic circle, thus within the "political" arctic or more correct the subarctic-area (the "arctic" can be defined in several ways - ref this article, in norwegian: framsenteret.no/arkiv/hva-er-arktis-5809086-146437/ ).
