thanks for watching, I book it thru the website of Northern lights Resort and spa, but you have to book it early for they only have few chalets. northernlightsyukon.com/
Hi, we stayed at the Northern Lights Resort and Spa for 3 nights and paid C$1,250 per person or C$2,500 per couple on a regular chalet. We paid additional C$300 for the glass chalet. Their package includes return flight from Vancouver-Whitehorse-Vancouver, stay at the regular chalet for 3 nights, transportation from airport to hotel and back to airport, breakfast and dinner(no lunch), wildlife Preserve Tour, bonfire overnight. The southern Lakes tour was extra(C$165/person) but worth going(see Day 2 video). We went to Whitehorse last Oct. which is a good time to go, we saw the aurora Borealis on our first 2 nights. The resort is a good place to see the northern lights. We just stayed in the chalet while waiting for the northern lights and once it’s visible we went out or you can stay at the bonfire from 10PM-2AM. First night, the northern lights appeared at 2AM and the 2nd night at 2:30AM until past 5AM. Check their website for more informations. If your main purpose of going to Yukon is to see the northern lights, I highly recommend this resort. Other tourists paid extra for northern lights hunting if they are staying in a regular hotel at Downtown Whitehorse. A good place to see the northern lights should be free from light pollution(totally dark). The resort is totally dark at night time, when northern lights appear all lights from our chalet were off.
