The world experienced a G4 solar storm for the first time in 20 years this May. The Aurora show was seen across the entire contenental US which is very rare. This was most epic Northern Lights show in my lifetime. The days leading up to the storm were spent planning and scouting different locations in North Idaho. This river location was the final decision. I always wanted to view the Northern lights from this area. The river view is facing east, there was a level of concern we wouldn't see much. I didn't expect to see them in every direction in the sky. It was one of the most amazing experiences in my life surrounded by family and friends. Thank you to everyone who came out for this experience!
