Yes I tried to make a build soft cap for END and a lot of VIT and than kinda similar MAG and STR to scale the sword's magic and physical dmg in PvE and PvP.... It kind of worked but not the best build ever to be honest

@mikerzisu I sort of wasted some souls level on DEX though cuz I had another build idea when I started my playthrough

@@ubr1739 yeah, not a bad build but won’t beat out a dedicated build toward a given damage stat like strength, luck (blueblood sword) or dex. But being it has a bit of everything, probably more fun to use. My favorite build is the faith build, doesn’t hit the hardest but it is the most fun to use

It has to be in NG+ since you can only get the Northern Regalia after at least one playthrough

@@ubr1739 yeah i got mine the legit way but someone actually did give me one lol. i kept it but never used it cos i wanted mine legitimately

@@ubr1739 Well technically you can use an archstone or evacuation spell after looting the sword and craft it in your first playthrough but to use it against allant is has to be + of course. A teleport will come in the Nexus to teleport back to finish the game, pretty neat saves you from having to beat ng+ flamelurker without the regalia🤩.

the sword damage doubles if you achieve pure tendency

@@jamesmorgan9752 i can outdamage the northern regalia with a knight sword and a buff.. even at pure tendency also it hits 2x faster and has a thrusting move set

@@jamesmorgan9752 I think you are smoking something 540 attack rating is split evenly between physical and magical damage -> 270phys/270magic - from the official website Even 2 handed I doubt you will hit this hard.. And this only works if character tendencies are pure The only weapon that hits this hard is Pureblood Sword with Luck hack.. With a crushing knight sword buffed I can deal 128dmg Physical and 128 damage magic twice as fast whilst holding a shield and thrust long range and perhaps more if you have the max stats for it.. Northern Regalia is just for swinging at noobs..who like to be cannon fodder

its more about how cool the weapon is and thats its proof of completing the game. its also a slow weapon so it takes more skill to use in pvp
