Thanks for the video. I got one of these today brand new from a buddy for 110$ but it wasn't fully assembled and has no instructions so this will help a lot!🎉
@@canheaton Awesome that's why I made it...was a bit confusing at times. Now if only I had a penny for the millions of views I've gotten and helped people
I suggest using loctite on most of the bolts especially the motor mount, drive sprocket screw, the large drum pivot bolt, and drum bolts. The nuts supplied are locknuts. Grease the drum pivot.
I bought the 6.35 cu ft one, and im super confused about the handle with the spring. I cant figure out how it goes and i feel like parts bags got mis labeled or something
Did you see the spring part at about 10:30? Essentially turn handle upside down so you can drop flat disk/washer then drop spring in and install whole wheel on shaft. Then you can install bolt and tighten down to desired tension.
@mrmotofy just figured it out. The nuts and bolts were mislabeled, but my issue was that I didn't know you had to put the big circle handle thing on at an angle at first to get it past the aluminum washer. Without doing that, the handle was stopping at the washer. Getting the bolts to secure it tightly like that was super hard. If I had forced it by continuing to tighten, I would have bent or broken the aluminum washer. Once I got that wheel thing past the washer and tightened properly, the rest was pretty easy. The one I have doesn't have the bolt to tighten the spring like yours it's just the spring by itself.
@@jimmyna5644 Ah ok, well ya figured it out that's the important part. It took me a bit too, now looking at it closer it's pretty easy and feel dumb it took so much time to figure out
