Out of all the UNFD bands, this band has made the biggest impact. Easily.

Dat intro...reminds me of Wormholes by Volumes. Love this band.

This is like... Progressive Melodic Post Metalcore? Whatever the hell it is, I'm madly in love with it. VERY unique.

Man, it's not even that sad or anything but the clean interlude with "the smoke will settle, the demons will come" part always fucking brings me to tears, that shit is fucking beautiful and although Singularity stands as my favourite Northlane album, this will forever be my favourite Northlane song no question.

Truly will be a classic in the next decade for metalcore and this generations metal fans

This is not only metalcore or whatever you call it... it's a fucking masterpiece. The lyrics, the guitars... the atmosphere of the song is from another world. NORTHLANE IS ONE OF THE BEST BANDS THAT I HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO LISTEN.

i saw these guys with PWD, hands of mercy and another band from Wollongong for the sick summer tour two they were the best support band by far

if you have ever wondered what is in the box in the album art, the idea is that it's not the contents of the box that are important it is the box and it's nature of being a mystery. If you do any psychedelics you will understand it perfectly, each time you look inside it's empty or it's something you've never seen before.

@Smythe705 'djent' isn't a genre, it is essentially Onomatopoeia for what a guitar sound is in this type of music. This is metal. The guitar tone is djent.

Greeley Estates are sick! swim for your lives has some of the sickest vocals ever, nice mix of lows, fries and piercing highs.

Listen to discoveries by these guys. Definitely some versatility there I'd say.

Im a bigger fan of The Storm Picturesque, but I really cant wait until both theirs and Northlanes albums drop so I can decide which one I like better. Northlane have really raised the bar with this track. The great thing is, I know both albums are going to rule. Some great new Aussie bands with a new style. Its no longer just about Parkway and Amity down here!

@Diablo5591 I've TSP live twice and thought they were great both times. I really respect them for making down to my neck of the woods twicw over the past few years as gigs here (Albury) become less and less abundant. If you guys havent yet, check out their new studio video. A fair few pre-pro samples are in there and they sound great. As for Northlane, im loving the shit out of this song. Hope to catch them live sooner rather than later!

@xmbieluv politely, this is metalcore. Hardcore, simply put, is more fast paced and simplistic in music. Hardcore is about the feelings, messages and emotions behind hard-hitting, punk-based music. Look up Madball, LionHeart, Have Heart for such. Not trying to be a dick guys.

You're right about that, they're more mid ranged than high. People just tend to call them highs because they're not lows. Check out the band Greeley Estates, the vocalist fries really damn high in some songs. (A fry by itself is just a creaking sound. These are fry screams incorporating vocal fry into a yell/scream)
