Norway is absolutely breathtaking. As a solo traveller in a wheelchair it’s not a destination I think I’d manage to visit, so I really appreciate you documenting so much. Thank you
Hi Marianne, thank you for sharing that and I'm sorry that you feel it's not accessible. P&O pride themselves on ensuring there are no barriers stopping you from seeing the world and enjoying unforgettable experiences at many wonderful destinations. We saw many people in wheelchairs exploring the towns. P&O have specific accessible shore experiences, including a range of activities that have been designed to accommodate your needs. This means you have the freedom to explore more places in a safe way, and if you're travelling with companions they can join you too! There's more information available here - www.pocruises.com/accessibility/ashore/accessible-shore-excursions any further questions, do not hesitate to reach out to P&O Cruises for support x
@@brogantatexo Thanks for the information about the excursions, it’s great that they offer options for people who would be okay. Unfortunately, after 20+ years of travelling across large parts of Europe and the US on my own I know I wouldn’t manage in Norway (at least the areas that I’m most interested in) This wasn’t really about looking for ways around that, just a thank you for sharing so much that I wouldn’t otherwise get to see.
My husband is a wheelchair user...We have been twice...Not to these ports of call apart from one...We got off most days did some nice walks...Flam railway is wheelchair friendly Burgen we did the life up a mountain.....Were booking on iona for Norway again...Looking forward to finding out about accesable tours...
Brogan I am loving watching these vlogs so much more than a vlog like a three part traveller guide , something that struck my watching you and Benji in the whole of this world isn’t it amazing how you met someone that has common lives and sense of humour I love watching you two together xxx
Welcome to the 2nd of THREE CRUISE VLOGS! We had the most incredible trip to Norway and wanted to say a big thank you to P&O Cruises for the opportunity. If you're interested in booking your own P&O Cruises holiday, find out more here → www.pocruises.com/ 🛳 🌊
I’ve never had the desire to cruise before but having watched these vlogs it’s now at the top of my list to cruise the fjords :) thank you so much for sharing 🥰
It hurts me as a swede to admit this since swedes and danes has tried to steal Norways thunder for such a long time: But vikings came orginally from Norway. This video proves it beyond any doubt. The fjords FORCED the vikings to make boats to be able to travel inside Norway crossing the hundreds of fjords in Norway. Sweden and Denmark are both without fjords - so there was no need to invent boats there. Your video just made me realize this fact.
What an amazing vlog. We’re off to the fjords on Iona in June and we’ve pretty much booked the same excursions as you so this has got us soooo excited!! Keep up the good work guys ☺️
This has made me 100% convinced that my husband and I need to do a cruise with P&O! Norway has been on my bucket list for so long and the prices are very reasonable, especially considering all that is included. Thank you for sharing this wonderful trip!
I'm loving watching these vlogs. The ship looks amazing. What some lovely places your visiting. Quite spectacular how the ship docked just by the road. Look forward to your vlogs. Till the next one x
Amazing 😊. Brogan and Benji you both are brilliant for sharing this amazing trip, I have added this to my list, absolutely love how you have captured the beauty of Norway 🇳🇴
I am watching all of your cruise videos to get in the mood for our cruise on britannia next week ; the video has also bought back a lot of really good memories of our fjord cruise so thank you :))
Fully invested in your channel! I love your travel videos, home updates and just life in general! You keep it honest, real and fun… keep it coming 👍🏻🥰🥰
Totally loved your video's we are doing that cruise this year and it's good to get a heads up on it all. We were on the Iona for her maiden voyage and had one of the suites, it was amazing a whole lot better than I had ever imagined.
This is the best vlog! You touch on every question…..the cost of the restaurants….the bathrooms! Just love it! I’m so happy I found you both…..you guys are great together!
Looks like you had an incredible time! I was on a cruise that stopped in Olden in early April! They did the same, playing music on the dock as we left as well! Norway was such an amazing experience!
My brother and sister-in-law have just done this Cruise on iona. Fabulous to be able to see some of the places they visited and the beautiful Ship. Thank you for the vlog.
The hiking video is amazing (more please). And I'd love to see your future video of hiking in spectacular Yosemite National Park. You and Bengi on top of Half Dome!
Oh my gosh the helicopter tour! Just beautiful. The towns were so cute too. What a great couple of days y’all had together. This cruise ship and the itinerary I think are calling my name. One more vlog to go. Great job of these vlogs Brogan.
Just got off the Iona today, me and my mum went to the limelight club twice. First night was to see Joe McElderry and that night I had the mushroom ‘scallops’ to start with then had the beef for my main and the pistachio strudel for dessert. I had tried my mum’s sea bass to see if I liked it as I don’t eat a lot of seafood and I did so had that the next night we went In there for a dinner and show to see Kevin Simms, I had the same dessert both nights and the second nights starter was the ham hock. Was absolutely delicious food, I was impressed. I actually plucked up the courage to talk to Kevin Simms too after the show and got a photo with him, lol. Xx
Your vlogs are amazing! I went to Norway a long time ago, Hammerfest - which is right at the top, and it’s such a beautiful country. You’ve done it justice. Looking forward to part 3 x
OMG that helicopter ride looked amazing - you had me sold when yo said soarin in real life 😍 I have just added that to my bucket list 🚁 we have done Grand Canyon and no doors on over New York and Niagara Falls .
AMAZING video and so inspiring for us as we're crossing the pond from Vancouver, Canada next week for a Norwegian Fjords cruise - same ports as on this video. We're actually on a B2B, continuing on a Scandinavia cruise, onboard Celebrity Silhouette for a total of 19 days, out of Southampton. Your footage is breathtaking! Thank you.
We are off to Norway to the very top of the country on princess in 5 weeks and Alesund is my favourite port of call there watching your helicopter tour was amazing and I am going ti look if princess do it. The walk the top of the town is hard but well worth it if you ever go again. I cannot wait for our trip now that I have seen yours I had forgotten how beautiful it is great vlog by the way.
It's all just SO GORGEOUS there!!! 😍😍😍 Stavanger is lovely!!! Lee Mead's show looked very good; I'll have to look him up! It DOES look cold!!! ❄❄❄ I used to live in Washington State, so I miss seeing mountains! A ME glaciers!!! That COLD blue water!!! 💙💙💙 The crayfishing looked fun!, as did all the shows. You REALLY had a full day!!! You deserved a bit of downtime the next day. I've never been in a helicopter and it looked AMAZING!!! You're so good to make the sacrifice of eating so much of the food for us! 😁😁😁 I'm eager to see what you get up to in the final vlog of this trip. Thanks again for taking us along! Continued love and health to you both from across the pond!!! 💜💜💜
My home town! So much fun seeing you visit Ålesund. Your ship was almost right outside my window. If I knew you were here, I would invite you for dinner :D
Hi there this om from India...& I love cruise videos and I was searching for more in RU-vid & I found this. And honestly saying you had very well made your excursion video and I loved it 🙏🔥🚩
That helicopter ride was so beautiful ,just wow 😀 I did one in NYC few years back and now we considering a Norwegian one as on Arcadia’s Norway and Iceland cruise in July 😊
You guys do know you can order as much food on a cruise as you like. You could have two starters, two mains and all the puddings if you liked. They were actually encouraging us to order as much as we wanted in the Pearl. The Olive grove wasnt for us in the end. We went there twice, I had the lasagne and didnt rate it Im afraid. The carbonara was top class though. I did see you guys in the Atrium playing cards in this dress but we were on the upper level having a drink before the show. Hoped to see you again before the cruise ended but didnt manage to. Agree it was the most magical week and we had the best time. Took me 4 days to get my land legs back again! Also slept amazing on Iona x
I swear if I ate any more food I'd turn into a potato hahah!! But that's good to know, thank you! Aw that's a shame! I personally didn't rate Keel & Cow but I loved my lasagne at The Olive Grove! It's interesting how everyone likes different things. It really was amazing, so glad you had a great time! xx
Oh my word I am so keen to watch but want to watch all these with hubby and he is obsessed with the snooker at the moment 🤣🤣 can’t wait for our cruise in Aug 2024 🥰🥰xxx
This video pop up on my suggestions and I loved how you portrayed Stavanger. I live here and it's nice to see that people enjoy the city ❤️ you also got a beautiful day ☀️
Hi Brogan Tate, hope you're well :) - I just wanted to say thanks so much for giving 'The Beach House' the credit it deserves! I went on my 1st ever cruise on Iona in Winter 2022, and loved 'The Beach House' so much I went 3 times across my 7 night cruise! And, I've been a bit of a cruising community 'Beach House' stan ever since! After giving it some thought, I recon I know why at times it can be marmite for P&O guests, and think it's because it is so different from any of their other eateries (with a focus on Latin American & Caribbean Flavours), and so a lot of it is down to personal preference. I also believe that it and Sindhu are two of the only speciality restaurants which have differing menu designs and make up across their ships at the same time, and so that might be why the menu seemed different. I totally get what you mean about it feeling some what like a chain, but in many ways I think it makes the restaurant feel a lot more professional, and almost like somewhere you could eat on land, which I personally believe is the sign of a great, transitive restaurant. So thankful for all the stereotype breaking young blood you and your partner bring to this community, and may you both keep being you! :) Best Wishes, The Lone Cruiser
Hey! I agree! I think it might be one of my favourite restaurants. That lava steak is AMAZING. aw that's so kind, I appreciate your thoughts and support so much! xx
Just found your videos and love your adventures! It took me several videos to figure out who Benjy reminds me of-American professional football quarterback Carson Wentz. Looking forward to catching up on more of your trips and fun!
We saw Lee Mead on Iona last year and thought he was incredible.I did think that the whole Limelight experience was a little drawn out and the food was nice but not spectacular.
Another top tier travel adventure with Brogan! I don't know if I would be brave enough for a helicopter but amazed at the images you captured❤. Beautiful vlog! ❤
The helicopter ride needed the theme from Lord of the Rings when you crested that mountain! Think my mum would enjoy a cruise, she could take it slow and also she'd enjoy the evenings, dressing up. If I win the lottery I'll take her...
Really enjoyed all 3 parts, thanks for sharing such useful info! P&O currently offer 2 helicopter flights, one from Stavanger and one Olden. Which one was this, or was it from ålesund? Thanks again.
Hiya Brogan. Love the vlogs...am addicted to them. One question please....do you know the name of the song that's playing in the background while you're showing your helicopter footage please? So haunting...I love it x
Will always support u guys......All the food looks amazing and like u Brogan I ❤️ Tiramisu .By the way both our guys love a pair of trousers that zip off into shorts 😂🤣😂Cragg Hoppers are my boyfriends favs xxx
