The memorial building and the sculpture ring are absolutely beautiful. Such a dignified and lovely tribute to those lost. My heart is with those families that had to go through that, and I'm so glad the Norwegians are continuing their traditions on that gorgeous island.

@@Fable1Guides That's the thing: Norway is too 'civilized' to consider death penalty on anyone, but a thousandfold war criminal and even then, I think with current laws this could only be 'enforced' by wounding in a battle with police or military. In a way this encourages such deeds, but on the flip-side for much lesser crimes it paints a clear path to rehabilitation w/o the feeling of the perpetrator of having lost all their human rights. Have a look a general murder rates in comparable neighborhoods: the US is much worse off.

What I find crazy is that he only got a 21 year sentence despite the fact that he murdered 77 people and caused a lot of grief for the families of the victims. I know that Norway's maximum sentence is 21 years in jail (+longer if the offender is deemed a risk to public safety after 21 years) but he should not leave prison alive.

The man is playing playstation in jail, i was thinking about this yesterday, what a coincidence. I'm not sure how he can pay for what he did, but his message should be eradicated, it shouldn't look as you can go unpunished for something like this by having so many privileges as he has now. Even his name should not be mentioned again.

Left wing terrorism attacks in Argentina in the 1970's were bloodily worst than this. Now, they are ''human rights advocates'', and they even have the most ''progressist'' president, obeying to communist orders (China) and all the Party is made up with the sons of those terrorists... They claim to rule human rights while idolizing Che Guevara (a cold killer assasin) and Castro (and vindicating Maduro).

This has something to do with the labor party, both his parents was members, and on his mother's side there was serious mental health issues going back in family history, his mother was probably insane, he has also, probably, been sexually molested by his mother, his father would rather spend time with the children in AUF than his own child, even when he was a little boy, only a few years old, people in kindergarten was concerned, there was several attempts to help the little boy, all sabotaged by layer's, I am only guessing, but think the labor party somehow have Ben behind it, and I think this whole tradigy is a revenge

It’s just not true. Right wing terrorism is really small. There’s big demographic changes in countries like norway. What that means for the future no one can tell for sure. Contrary to the narrative promoted in the media multi culturalism is not a strenght but something to overcome. Terrorism is no solution for anyone who is against mass migration, the actions of anders breivic had no positive outcome at all for his cause.
@keithv3767
@keithv3767 3 года назад
@@Cactus_hug You clearly watch a lot of right wing media. “False narrative” is code they use for unfortunate truths they don’t want to acknowledge. If your country is the U.S., it is true that riots last summer were extremely destructive. It is not true “they murdered a lot of people”. The Charleston Church murders, more five people killed on January sixth, the Wisconsin Sihk Temple shootings, the Pittsburg synagog shootings, the El Passo shootings in 2019, and the 2020 “boogaloo shootings” are all examples of right wing terrorist killings. You will not be able to come up with a list like this for left wing group violence. The U.S. suffers from right win violence more than Europe by orders of magnitude. You have just been misinformed.
