My name is Arvind Keprate. I am a Associate Professor in a University in Norway. I have been living in Norway for the last 8 years and thought of sharing my experience of living in Norway with all the viewers of RU-vid. The videos are in Hindi and English mix.

I am here in oslo Norway to join my ship from last 7 days .. I don’t know about other cities….I felt like because of illegal immigrants issue from Asia.. Norwegian are very shy towards asian.. Country is also expensive as compared to other European countries which I have visited.. so I will suggest students to consider this country at last from my week experience.. people are not at all warm. Very very shy..more refugees than students that’s what I felt here.. that’s why this situation..

Hi! Sure this is a great video with very good information for people that are undecided between Norway and Finland like myself, however... I can not watch it because most of it is in Hindi, and I only get the few words in English. English subtitles would be nice and you could reach a bigger audience.

Sir please tell about PR in Norway, in the sense that you are eligible in 3 years to apply, but how easily is the application accepted, are there any hidden hurdles for Indians. Because I have heard that in Sweden, as soon as you are eligible to apply for PR, they try to kick you out from country, so that you don't get PR. Are there such problems in Norway also?

Finland is not a Scandinavian country. But, it's the nordic country closest to beeing scandivavian. Often mistaken as scandinavian. People speaking Norwegian, Swedish, Danish speakers can understand each when speaking slow and use older common words. But if any uncertanty, we can always switch to English Icelandic is a mor a perserved Old Norse, Old Nordic, or Old Scandinavian, before nordic languages separated in to the Nordic languages we speak today. The Finnish language is closer to Estonian, and in the same language family as russian language. But Swedish is spoken by many in Finland
