Great video review buddy. We have done all the other breakaway ships but never the actual original breakaway. Trying to surprise my son with a last minute cruise here at the beginning of August right bofore school starts. I take him on so many cruises he's almost sapphire with NCL if points were awarded at the young age. This ship is almost just like the Getaway or Escape which my son loved for all of the slides and splash pads. Thank you.

Go to Horseshoe Bay Beach the best one. Take a $7 shared ride cab (mini Van) right out of port. If you take a shore excursion it's $59 for 4 hours. The taxi vans stay at the beach and wait for you. Make sure you get there early enough to rent an umbrella and chairs. Fairly cheap. once you get to the beach to the right is knee high water ( take a box of cereal from the buffet with you) go a few feet in to the right or left. Sprinkle some cereal in the water and the fish come up to you. If you go to the left of the main beach (nice walk down) there are little grottoes you can walk through and look at. The beach by the dockyard closest to the ship is o.k cost a little more but not as nice

just got off the breakaway and i’m sad to report that the book is no longer in the library. i went every day to check and see if someone returned it but alas they did not. i was so bummed!

It isn’t a great ship for sports watching. The whiskey bar has TV’s, the casino bar has TV’s, the outside bar at Syd Norman’s has TV’s and the pub also has TV’s. College Football they will probably get a couple games, but not every game.

Since it is shown on RU-vid, all the videos are commercial and you can't find any bad comments like it is related to the cruise line. Don't think about RU-vid videos that are fair and truthful, but watch RU-vid videos and throw away any fantastical thoughts.

Thanks for the review. Very informative. Small Nitpick but your pronunciation of italian names like La Cucina and gnocchi made me cringe. Usually im not that picky ...so apologies but i had to tell you. 😅
