One of the great things about cruising is trying all of the amazing food!! In this video, we will show you all of our dining experiences for the week onboard the Norwegian Breakaway. Some are included in the cruise fare like our favorite daily spot of O'Sheehan's Irish Pub, the always yummy Garden Cafe, The Manhattan Room, Taste & Savor main dining rooms and room service. We also tried some of the specialty dinings at an extra cost such as Le Bistro, La Cucina and Moderno. Let us know what you have thought of the food with NCL.

My husband and I got on breakaway in LA the day u guys got off.😜 Our first Cruise and we were celebrating our honeymoon (1.5 years late.lol). Hubby wasn't a fan of the buffet but we enjoyed the grilled shrimp,Indian food and ice cream. We ate at taste, savor and the pub alot. Had some great cocktails and wine. The service was excellent every place we ate. Our room steward was AWESOME. but never really had too friendly of service w the bar staff.. kind of disappointing seeing as if we speant alot of time there. Hehehe. Fun to see the ship and food again... Good memories.

I’ve been on a couple of cruises now since going low carb and found it very easy, so many yummy options! Nice to not gain weight on vacation for a change 😄

I want to go on a cruise so bad just for the food. The idea to eat so many types of food that I dont have to cook myself or have a mountain of dishes afterward is an absolute dream!!!. Me and my husband havent been on a honeymoon so hopefully we'll be able to get on one once the whole covid thing is sorted out ❤ in the meantime I'll keep watching your vlogs and dream

What a doll she is ! (he is too !), but her facial expressions and arm gestures while she ate that crepe - I loved it and could sooooo identify :-) I would forgo premade deserts every night just to get that crepe every night ! Cheers !!!

@@EECCTravels Last Princess cruise my hubster and I took I had my first try of a desert called Floating Island. Oh as in Oh my God....... Literally heaven on earth ! We are going on a Princess cruise down to the Baja Sea of Cortez in Feb 2021, (hopefully !), and I plan on ordering 2 of them - I will have to wear my expando waist band skirt as it is always served on formal night ! No wait, maybe I'll wear a mu mu LOL !

You never go hungry on a Norwegian Cruise. There is something for every taste and requirement. If you need some specially prepared, they'll do it your way.

I cannot wait to get to O'Sheehans to try the prime rib & fish n chips. The crepe looks so good. LOL "Diet boy?" There is nobody dieting on your cruise! :) My goodness the Peking duck looks really good. There are so many restaurants and places to see on that ship, actually looking forward to having a cigar outside the Humidor (if that's allowed?). I can't wait for my first cruise onboard the NCL Breakaway. Great video (you guys know how to eat)

We just got off the ship on 11-22 😢... we liked the buffalo wings at OSheehans but didn’t see the prime rib sadly. My favorite things were the Tuna Tar Tar in the Manhattan room, the steak & lobster at Cagneys! I never had the buffet but my friend did every morning. I didn’t get up until later so I didn’t get that. We got room service one night & got the pizza but we didn’t care for that but liked the 4 beers we got. 😁

I was just commenting on another cruise vlog that I see tons of vloggers raving about Guys burgers and Shaqs chicken. I wondered whatever happened to prime rib, lobster, filet mignon in the MDR. If I pay hundreds if not thousands for a cruise I don't want food I make at home. I want fantastic rich extravagant food I don't eat on a regular basis. That prime rib makes me happy just looking at it. Fish and chips??? Girl what were you thinking?

Our kids like Entourage but said they have had more fun on Carnival. That being said, we have always cruised Carnival during spring break with lots of kids on the ship and there were only 20 in Entourage with them. So I think the amount of kids has something to do with it too. But they loved the group activities! They went bowling and to laser tag (on the Bliss) as a group.

I will be on the Breakaway on 4/21/2019 and I am guessing the menus will be the same as the Getaway which I cruised on for 7 nights last August 2018.

Just found you adorable twosome :-) Going on the Breakaway in late November, 2019. I have a few Q's for you: You list all these places to eat, but since I am in the early stages of paying for the cruise, what would be the BEST for a specialty dining? And, none of these eateries are listed on the Breakaway now. Here's the list: Cagney's, La Cucina, Le Bistro, Churrascaria and Teppanyaki. Were they there when you guys went on this ship, or did NCL change the names of the ones you went to? PS: We have a Brazilian restaurant not too far from us called "Rioz." it is EXCELLENT and we have to do the same thing: red for no meat service and green is yes for the "gaucho's" to stop by with the meat that they slice at your table. LOVE this place, but a little pricey, or we'd go back several times a year.

the churrasceria is 'moderno'. Everyone seems to have slightly different opinions on which they like best. We noticed that the regular table service at all of the restaurants (and mdr) is slow as molasses. For that reason alone (unless you like that), I'd try moderno, where you can quickly start eating. I still think moderno has one of the higher ratios of 'people that emphatically like it' to 'people that dislike it'.

I’m going on Breakaway in May, so it was good to see those venues. I’ve been on Epic, Getaway, Bliss, and I’ve never seen a buffet on a mega ship look so empty. Not even on Gem which I’ve bedn on also. Hoping I have that kind of luck. Good video. Think I’ll try La Cucina this time.

We were surprised the buffet was not crowded as well. It was only really busy once and that was during breakfast, other than that it was nice. We really enjoyed La Cucina...

I just got off the Norwegian Bliss on a Panama Canal cruise from LA to Miami, and I tired the Chicken Wings and they were not good in my opinion, I am spoiled by eating at Wing Stop and these once on the ship sucked.

Yes! All cruise lines allow you to make payments if booked early up until the final payment due date.

Perhaps the best cruise food video ever for me. Particularly good for me as I'm on the sister ship Getaway in January and the Bliss in April. I am really looking forward to Los Lobos, looks way better than the venue it replaced. You are both my kind of cruisers. Jason, my go to purchase in every new port is a tshirt.

What is the cost of Norwegian compared to Disney? Lisa please compare the two, value for money, accommodations, room size and service. Does Norwegian have a ship out of Port Canaveral? We are looking for another cruise next year.

I will have to do a apples to apples comparison between the two. We had a balcony on NCL and an interior on DCL. Both had very nice, spacious rooms. Disney has a better cabin layout with their storage. Service was great on both, but Disney cast members are VERY friendly. I think the cost will be less on NCL but DCL has a lot that is included in their cruises. I will be happy to do some more research for you. Please send me an email at eecctravels@gmail.com.
