cheers. im a recruit in the army now, (css/logistics) but there is still a ton of basic soldier education. the most bad ass thing ive done so far is being at the shooting range at -30°c half of my platoon got frost damage on their face after aiming with our mp7's. we also have to drill with mittens imagine that
+Taurion Martell hey. If you start training in the military here in Norway I live, you should go for MJK (Marinejegerkommandoen). I know that no girls that have tried have ever gotten through the training, and I know that there is a few men that barrely makes it, but I will try in 4 years and I will do whatever I'll have to do to be the one that gets through.

i remember talking to a vet and when i asked him why he joined up he said "i chose to join up not to fight for our polititians i joined up to fight for my country and protect my loved ones" this hurt me deep and i will always respect thoose who choose to join their military whether you are russian american or norse i will always respect you guys

I do though agree that some Norwegians are over the top excited about their own country, but at the same time most countries these days lack some healthy amount of patriotism. The two most well trained guys I know failed on day 2 of the uptake to the special forces (FSK). They had been training for years, spent 2 years in the military as well. Respect for all the hard work these guys are doing.

we actually make artillery, and we have some of the best equipment in the world, in the viking ages we practicly ruled the world, we conquered the englsish, we raided the french, we were the ones who pushed the russians into what is now russia. we had amazing technology, its sad what we have become now, we are still good compared to our size, but we were a super power. arguably the best, mabye the french chineese were our only "real" threats.

That wasn't just FSK members, but also MJK (marinejegerkommandoen). Recognized two of the locations where MJK are based, as i've been training and serving on both of the places. It's alot of fun when you get to see these guys train in front of you, and sometimes even with you.
Jimmy Jackson when someone says this unit is the best its always subjective there is no denying they are good and well trained and that's enough there is no way to prove which units is truly the best for that they all have to go on a real live mission (not a pre-defined competition) perform the same tasks with REAL life threats and deal with situations they were not prepared for and then you have to repeat the same mission with the same parameters to compare it to other units so its never going to happen

They say a solider never dies and just for a second I think to my self a seventeen year old future military man. We will never feel more alive than when we are in fight mode such as we are on the hunt too insure survival, which is what these brave men do for more to follow them.
