By the time their 0-3 loss at Crystal Palace on 28 December 2021 had ended, Norwich City supporters had seen their team play five games in December, losing five, conceding 14 goals, and scoring none. So they decided to pretend they had scored a goal, which the Palace supporters could at least appreciate.

The most fun I have ever had at an away game was at Norwich...so I am not surprised. Their fans were by far the most pleasant I have come across. We were in a section of the ground that was mostly, but certainly not exclusively home fans and the banter was brilliant.

I remember a Norwich fan walking into the spellow pub next to goodison literally 30 seconds after a heavy fight between two Everton supporters. He looked at me wide eyed and innocent and said are we OK to drink in here? Surrounded by every week blues at a night game as well everyone tanked up we just looked at him and said, yeah go ed lad. The most unthreatening, totally naive and naturally friendly away fan I've ever spoke to at a match haha

Many years ago I worked in Newcastle and one of their supporters told me that he thought the new Leazes End stand was a fine addition to St James Park except that it faced the wrong way. you can't pass forward when there's nobody free to pass to - you just lose the ball which is worse. The idea of keeping possession is to work openings for forward passes. We were good at it with Emi in the team

People became dubious because he had played for Rangers all season with no such issues and a few days later he was playing for Gers v Hibs during which the Gers fans chanted "One Andy Goram....there's only one Andy Goram" the class response came from the Hibs end "Two Andy Gorams....there's only two Andy Gorams" Genius😂

When I was young (back in the late 1970s), Reading FC were going through a really good patch, winning most weeks. Whenever we were up by two goals, we used to start supporting the other side. It was infectious, and others started doing the same.

Great sense of humour displayed by Norwich fans……………………….I do feel for their fans. Hopefully things will get better. Sooner rather than later for them. It’s tough to fight your way into the Premiership. Only just to get so brutally slapped back down. Truth of the matter is. They have not invested enough when they came up to the Premiership. You have to strengthen/spend otherwise it’s just a short stay in the top league.

Absolutely brilliant. I was a student at UEA and a regular attendee at Carrow Road during those years. I got to watch one match from one of those executive box things - before they were completed and plebs were kept firmly at bay. I was there in 1980 when Justin Fashanu scored the goal of the season against L'pool. (I don't know about you other football fans but it seems to me that these days goals like that are going in every matchday.)

haha. I remember Scotland scoring a scrappy goal at Hampden against (I think) the mighty San Marino to go 1-0 up on the hour mark and the stadium being filled with "Easy, Easy" chants. 🤣🤣
